Oh, well the drama has been sitting in my plan to watch lists for a while, I will probably get to it eventually but she is beautiful and that photo is really beautiful.

Drama with all the standard, pleasing elements, a typical idol drama Pop music, love triangles, idols, evil witches, cross dressing. But it was better than similar out there, it had it's funny moments. Jang Geun Sook is a fine actor as is Park Shin Hye. I liked them.and found their bickering enjoyable, they worked well.

time travel. Well, let's see!

Well, will see. Gonna give it a chance; it actually may be a really touching drama- because of the stories he will learn about.. It's the romance poart that doesn't sound right in this context...not everything needs to have a romance in it.

Ah, I think 8/10 is too low; it is deserving more of 8,5 rounded to 9/10, despite the flaws that I found in this movie, as I think about the shots and the use of camera the echoing silence at times, the use of lighting - it really has high execution values so just for it, for making a movie like a poem it does deserve a 9. Oh and the music IS lovely, absolutely lovely.

Better to say, the camerwork, cinemtaography was quite poetic, it made the film into a love poemm. I loved the shots of the postbox. It was very ..just very lovely.

What I'm interested in is how did he find his way into acting; he 's an agriculture major, do you happen to know? I sure hope he will get his great roles in the future :-)

The movie was lovely, the camera work was interesting and enhanced the mood very well; the story was nice, but it's far from original. I felt the ending, though I liked it, was not believeable. It would have been more believeable if a different solution was applied. I found the actress who plays Hana a bit annoying. But overall, this is a very lovely movie, which deals with loss and grief and is very touching. 8/10.

haha. I will also watch it; Mukai received an award for best supporting actor for Gegege no Nyobo. I really would like to see him in more such ambitios projects as Gou, he should develop his skills more, right niw he is a pretty good actor- and he is certainly a charmer, ein Charmeur (would you say that in German?) but he should aim for further development.

Oh yes, you;re right. her name was Cha-Cha but she later took the name Yodo as Monkey's wife I think. Hatsu is indeed quite nice. But the issue with Gou's daughters was so heartbreaking I didn't think I could stand it. Mukai's character was clearly intent on assuring peace with the Toyotomi, because of Gou but when Gou told him to go to war because she clearly believed that he could bring peace, he went. I really am mad at her for this a bit, she didnlt think this through and I don;t want to see her blaming Hidetada. The good thing about Taiga dramas is that they do bring history to life and make history emotional, rather than just pure facts. I love it.

This is based on a manga which tells an alternative history of old Japan. The concept is certainly VERY interesting but it did feel a bit rushed and a bit bland as I didn't find it engaging enough. Still, a very interesting idea and quite well done. That's 7 out of 10.

You know, DJ, now that I think about it more, given your interests, I think rather than al the previous recommendations I made, Hanawake no Yon Shimai may be interesting for you; also Bara no nai Hanaya; maybe Juunen Saki mo Kimi ni Koishite, since it's a study of a married couple though it uses a concept of time travel. I will repeat my recommendation of Daisuki, however. I see you're braving jejoongwon, I"m happy you decided to start it. I hope you will end up liking it. Despite the low rating, this is one of those movies that are my guilty pleasures and I quite enjoy those little guilty pleasures. But I wouldn't say it's a worthwile film, especially if you loved the anime.

It's the typical romcom fare but lee sun gyun is as always enjoyable in his role - he's a really good actor with good charisma- and has good chemistry with female lead. It's meant to be a fun romcom romp and it;s an enjoyable time waster. I liked the ride, itls quite a flippant and frivolous one, but ends on a note I think we like to see in romcoms ;-) I know I do.

actually saying he makes a very good george is not the right expression; he's a compelling George.

I really liked this drama, it was interesting and had a very nice twist to it. I enjoyed what it tried to do. It is another conteplative drama, in this one we wonder about what consequences of our actions may have on the future, how are present actions manipulate the outcome we may get. It's also about fated meetings. The ending was perfect.
