I saw this film at a screening during a festival and I feel in love with it. It's a beautiful piece. I'll have to rewatch to write a review but I really wanted to add this to the database. I'm happy it shows up now.

history and it's inevitable. But I sure liked Mukai more in episode 34 and beyond. At fiurst I thought he's too popular for a Taiga but I think he's pulling his weight and does a poretty good job, though he has a long road to go as an actor still..but once I watched more I found him convincing as Hideata. It is a good drama all in all. :-)

I think I changed my mind about Mukai in Gou (I do quite like him and I pity him too) and slightly about Gou, but I still think she shouldn't have pushed him to something that ended so badly (I am on episode 44 now); no amount of wishful thinking will ever bring about the wishes, especially such big ones...and the circle of bloodshed will go on and will not stop, even if one's wishes are different. it's terrible, hoew omplicated their lives have become because of all that asnd all thise choices to be made that complicate things beyond unravelling..*sigh* that;s what makes these dramas so painful but also addictive. I think it will be a while before I touch another Taiga, but they are very well done and informative. Gosh, this IS addiction, because i sure love and hate this Taiga drama - because you grow to care for characters and then there are so many turns...and then you realise it's

I don't know, As, there is something I love in family bonds, but especially brotherhood stories, father-son stories and male friendship stories, there is something beautiful in the idea of a pure and loyal friendship as there is, of course, in family- brothers, siblings, being supportive of one another. It's a bit sentimental, but I always feel very fortunate because it is pure luck what family you getl if it's supportive and loving, it's just an amazing gift, the best ever. That's why I pprobably like seeing this in dramas; because the good family, the loving family and what we do to support our family memeber/friends is a very beautiful thing. Well, do have a good night, AS.

you will move on to a happy university life which you will be able to enjoy without this heavy baggage; my nephew is real quicksilver and after NOT wanting to fall to sleep for two hours last night, I ewas getting tired a bit. But he is lovable and so intelligent, a genuine quicksilver. I', hsppy to help my brother, especially since I'm the godmother. I will watch it probably now, since I've just caught up with Gou japanese historical drama (but it;s too much, the Taiga drama is just ...too much to bear, too many twists and turns..and that is history. And life...I like Japanese taiga drama based on what I've seen but it's somewhat poainful to watch because it's history. But it;s also very good and very involving, so I won;t be able to keep away from a taiga or any other historical drama for long, though I sincerely love happy endings. Now, this is addiction. lol

I see. I am sorry to hear that, AnimeStar. Since I have never been in a position, it is not my intention to make presumptous assumptions. I have beem, however, severely depressed. The kind of invisibility was always accompanying me since I was severely downplaying myself and felt that everyone else thought the same. I eventually found out that how people see you depends on how you see and feel about yourself. But that feeling is severely influenced by your own state. If I'm tired I still have depressive thoights that downplay me to upteenth degree and thus make me feel invisible. Your parents are very worried, I'm sure, but there is nothing better than a good, strong, supportive family. I do not think I will ever feel anywhere as safe as I do whe I'm back home and spending time with family. Take heart, AnimeStar and stay strong. I very much hope that your illness will pass and that

He may be likeable but after a few more episodes I think the actor's not doing a very good job a conveying tyhe character's slowness, I'm actually convinced less by him as the drama goes on...It's a pain watching this and skipping doesn;t help eiether; it;s very tedious for mw so I'm going to drop.

Yeah, but I found it as annoying as MGIAG. I will finish off my thesis! That's my new year resolution. :-) It's due in July since that's when I'm planning to have my grad exam- defence. Hopefully, I'll stay on at university and do PhD, but that will be solved in September. before that I"m taking a loong holiday. lol. What about you?

Also, I think it's like with bolloywood fever- the drama fever will be spreading more too. Asian dramas have a winning formula: soaps+mini series and once they pull you in, you're in it quite deep.

May I ask what circle that is? Are you studying or in school? Also, I have seen some Polish subs on some of the dramas on viki.
First episode is just a start, I hope it'll pull you in; I think it already has - but you will only really see how exciting that drama is a bit later, because what you see now is just for setting the theme and making the viewer start to care for the characters. After that, well, you'll see. Strongest Park Shi Hoo's performance to date; he's an actor that's spreading his wings and he is a cutie pie, too, lol. According to drama wiki, they have already received several recognition awards, including one for mid-length drama excellency and it's really well deserved. May you have an exciting watch through! ^^ Hiw did you get into dramas?

I do not feel the humour here, it's not funny for me at all- it's very tiresome. I am not entirely sure where…
Also the lead is likeable enough and the actor who plays his father is a really good actor but this drama just doesn't work for me, it doesn't click, not like Don Quixote did.

I do not feel the humour here, it's not funny for me at all- it's very tiresome. I am not entirely sure where the pull of the drama is supposed to be... But even so, the story is decent with the going back to school theme in order to learn "all the important things". I'm not sure I'm going to finish it yet; I might because I like the underlying serious theme but this drama is simply not funny: it's tedious. Don Quixote is much better. This one: 5/10.

It's rather disappointing. I like thew 1995 version of little princess better than the shirley temple one) and this one just didn't have the magic and it felt uncomfortable.

I want to ewatch it, thank you for your recommendation. I really like Jung Woong In as an kind of an older brother character and I'm happy to see him in a family drama. ^^ (he oozes likeability from onscreen for me and I dio like actors who have tha likeability factor. Gon Yoo has it too but he;s niot my type lol.

I know, AnimeS. I know how that feels when you can;t get a word in edgewise or you feel like you simply are not supposed to have a voice; but I also think it;s a matter of some complexes which can be conquered. I had a major inferiorirty complex growing up and I only managed to deal with it recently. With regards to being treated as child, the more you protest, the more it will bring the effect you don;t want. Also, if you;re the youngest in your family you are bound to be treated as child, if only because your parents do not want to feel olders. The older you get, the older they get also and they may be dreading a potential emoty nest syndrome. I can empathise with this because I have been through a stage of such feelings myself. You;re not bothering me, I'm happy to listen and I'm happy we can share our experiences.
