I don't particularly large gatherings myself especially when we go to my godmother's- I never feel comfortable there since we're not very close and she is not really a part of our family just a friend my parents picked. When we do go for the obligatory birthday it's so tedious and especially with their big and strange family :sigh: I hope your father's birthday went by okay. I hope you get to relax bit. You're qute right, hospital is no fun and doctors will just keep saying the same thing; after a whole it gets tedious to visit them. You seem to be working too much, if it's getting to this point. I hope you get a lot of peace and decent rest as soon as you can. but I really love his impressionistic imagery. What will you be focusing on in your minor projecT? Is this like a lead up to bachelor's? or a you going strasight for an MA?

I am preparing to but we'll see how that goes. I hope you will be able to achieve what you;re after, opening a private practice is difficult (my sister in law tried it once) but I think rewarding. Yes, she was a brilliant writer and I am very appreciative of how she wrote not so much about the workings of relationshis but the society! Her books have now gone rusty a bit. I did like most of them a lot, emma, pride and prejudice, Sense and Sensibility and Northanger Abbey, oh i so loved how she parodied the gothic genre! Do you have any favourite adaptations?
My thesis focuses on Joseph Conrad and his sea works, though it;s difficult to write about him, he's a bit difficult in the sense that his writing is not comfortable- probably because he was a Pole and he learned English very late in his life and tried to be very deliberate about phrasing

Aww, I see. I hope you're feeling well. Well a quiet New Year's at home can be very cosy and fun too - and restful. I'm not much of a partying type myself, don't particulary like the crowds but then I always think it's because I'm getting on in years; I actually like spending new year's at home. Yes, the thing is getting to a close- well this chapter. I will still have one and a half more chapter to write and then the conclusion and then there will be corrections and finally defence sometime in July. How about you?

lol, I can see that e is lol. It;s interesting what you;re saying and makes sense, I have to agree. Sometimes pride just doesn't cut it, but evern so the drama seemed more eventful in the first part and then it slowed down somewhat. The story of eldest sister's "love" for monkey is a bit difficult for me to swallow and I'm not really keen on that actress, but Monkey is fabulous as an actor; so much madness in him. I am yet to finish it and then I'll go and watch Tenchijin probably and then Atsu Hime; I see ep 43 is out already, good. :-)

I'm fine myself, though busy again too. It's New Years Eve soon, having any exciting plans for the special night? I'll be babysitting myself, lol.

lol, I see. Well the one I mentioned was pretty ok and there was another I watched set on a little island where the girl was kidnapped beause the male lead took her for someone else. I didn't like it much, but I haven;t given up on Thai dramas yet.

Psychology seems very fitting, since you seem to be interested in the human being on this very complex level, at least this is the impression I get. I had some posychology myself but tailored to the processe of teaching and learning since my faculty was mostly preparing me for the job of teaching English. Hope you like your experience so far. I also hope DQ will be to your liking and won't disappoint. I'm finishing British lit, majoring in Brit lit of 19th and 20th century, writing my thesis currently. Now that Christmas is over it's time to start countdown to the New Year. Can't believe it's going to be 2012 already. Ages ago it seems like such a futuristic year lol, it seemed almost sci-fi that we'd get there eventually.

That's the very reason I always feel a bit uneasy about making recommendations, when I myself sit and watch something with a mind loe that of an empty, unwritten tablet, s to speak. I wouldn;t be worried too much about verbosity; it;s like a personal quirk and two I have learned to curb it with time somwewhat, though I have to think really hard on what I ewant to stay, otherwise my intent will be lacking precision and will be misunderstood. What do you study?

Actually by now Christmas has finished for me. Christmas Eve is the most important part and Christmas Day is like an after-celebration, since we focus on the moment of Birth itself- and the first Star, the star that led the Three Wise Men. But I am having a festive day, thank you and Happy Birthday ^^

Whew, I just finished going through your lists and reviews and took a couple of titles for my own Plan to Watch lists; you seem to be really fond of soccer, time travel, martial arts and some other concepts which do sound rather unique and you sure have a rather wide span of drama likes. I like to keep an open mind to these things (at least until I am sure I dislike something; it;s like with innocent until proven guilty lol) and hopefully broaden my so called drama horizons so I'll be checking a whole lot of them out (though frankly, my list is growing longer and my time feels like it's growing shorter lol) And that would conclude my stalking of your profile for now, lol ^^ Best regards.
