was that the bit when she called Da Jung "mom" because tey were asked who Da Jung is? Then she told her she only said that to cover for her lol. I may have missed that. there was a later bit when the oldest son was singing at the church bit I doubt it was there. They also met at the chirch and she dropped her ring at some point. I think it was after she learned the wife was alive, I think these are all church fragments I remember. I am going to rewatch it later more calmly but the fact that it finished airing prompted me to just go through it.

Yes. I liked some of their productions, including Jack and the Beanstalk and- what was it- something about leprechauns and fairies but recently they are just churning out the same formula over and over again. It's hard to believe they made the Skylark trilogy with superb Glenn Cloe abd Christopher Walken and even Jack Palance as well as some other good films. I used to watch Little House on the Prairie on Hallmark. I don't have this channel any more at home..but the way things are I say I lose nothing. Arabian Nights is a decent enough to watch, much like the prepechaun thing and jack and the beanstalk- although jack and the beanstalk is too conspiracy-theory led -.- But the music was nice and the settings were pleasing. I think they did those kind of films pretty well overall. Some cheese is expected, it's hallmark after all. I;ll hope to hear your comments when you watch it.

Oh!! That would be brilliant! This is such an exloitable story! I'm SURe the Chinese would do magic with it...if it got the correct team. But it's just that Chinese chirn out period piece after period piece like every single month and I think the quality is not really on their minds, well with some notabl eexceptions perhaps.

Ultimately I conclude it was trying to be a blend of King and I and 1001 nights and maybe all the sort of "au pair" movies where a woman comes and takes care of a broken family. The smallest kid was utterly adorable though. Awwww!! He was all like I like Ahjummma :D Overall I do think the show was creative. Maybe it's because the show was extended. I think the final two episodes repeated themselves, going back and forth. After all the anticipation that was built, it seems justified that a lot of viewers would feel unsatsified.

If you do see the hallmark version, Dougray Scott seems a little more intense I think and a little more brooding and dark and consumed by his rampant insecurities and anxieties. I haven;t rewatched that film in forever but I remember thinking the imagery was evocative of magic. Hallmark movies can be a hot or a miss especially nowdays they have become too formulaic and music plays even over dialogue? come on.

But anyway, Prime Minister I makes a satisfacory attemot at being creative. It could be a little better but it's noce to see this kind of idea pop up.

So I speded watched through Prime Minister and I and it seems to me the ending is justified as far as Prime Ministetr and her go. At the end Jung becomes a new Schehrezade saying she will write a new story about Prime Minister and I. The 1001 nights theme in the drama is very strong; if you ever watched the hallmark adaptation of Arabian Nights; actually the Prime Minister reminds me more of this Sultan. And Da Jung is this wise Shehrezade character. I think it was far for Da Jung to retreat and return on her terms because the Prime Minister is definitely lacking emotionally. I will need to watch it more throughly at some point but curriosiy got the better of me. I skipped a lot because the beginning in particular had a lot of the same. I think they tried to do a good story based on 1001 nights and the ending justifies it. Except in this version the previous wife or wives didn't die. But in a sense Da jung, like Shehrezade saved Lee bum soo sultan from himself.

You know whar I speed watch through most of it yesterday. Da Jung was created as shehrezade, while RPime Minister was the Sultan with similar issues as the flmic adaptation of Arabian Nights. So it;s part King and I and part 1001 nights. I don't have an opoinion about the ending; I think it's fine; it's like she wants to meet him on different terms and besides she says she is writing a book about Prime Minister and I so she has become Shehrezade herself and suggests she will now write a new story.

I'm almost afraid to watch ep 18-20. I don;t like misunderstandings and I think I"m aboit to witness some. Thrash and NaJeong have not been communicating feelings to each other. They both ASSUME they know how the other feels ;_; They;re lovely but they're taking what they have a little for granted.

I can imagine; I think I'd even go so far as to call the early technologies a form of art these days, depending on what we're talking about.

There are researchers in humanities investigating early use of voicw recording. Not sure whehn was the first voice recording done but from what he presented it was surorisingly early. This is where the fascination lies- when we can actually get to hear voices coming from history. I've got goosebumps when I think about it. Same goes with early techniques of making ohotographs such as amrotypes- these are so beautiful

Not really. My knowledge of these things doesn't go beyond basic markup- I used some basic html and a bit of css (with difficulty, even that; needed to carefully follow instructions); when I was installing forum on the domain I owned I also had to follow instructions very carefully. It was tough to get this and user profiles to work as they should. And then I had to deal with spambots somehow. Sometimes I do wish I knew. But to difficult for a humanities-oriented perosn like me. lol.

Why do you ask?

aww, thank you for your offer. But It's all right, I actually just googled this issue. It seems this is possible; only the file needs to be converted but from what I read everything is sort of self-explanatory. Maybe I;ll test it out one day, but I"m not in a hurry to leave wordpress since I like it more than blogger in terms of aesthethics and functionality overall.
