Byla sprawa z Andy Lau- dziewczyna zeby go zobaczyc zadliuzyla rodzicow, chyba nawet dom zadlizyli czy cos takiego, po to zeby mogla pojechac bo tak go uwielbiala i uwielbiala..w rezultacie jej ociec popelnil...samobojstwo...obwiniajac...ANDY LAU, ktory z reguly zdaje sie jest dobry dla swoich fanow, o to ze nio traktowal jego corki powaznie? Kazali mu przeprosic..za smierc ojca?? A dziewczyna z tego co znalazlam, i takl dalej uwielbia Andy Lau i dalej bedzie chciala go ogladac. Przesadyzm po porstu. Jak mozna tak totalnie zgubic sie w uwielbieniu dla kogos?

To me it was a typical melodrama-makjang. I am annoyed with these scenarios. Ji Sung is charming buyt his character is such a typical k-drama type. The behaviour of the woman is always way too self-sacrificing. What can you tell me more about Prisoners? What makes it stand out from other similar stories?

haha! :D Maybe it wasn't as good as you'd hoped then? I am in the mind of starting Doctor Who one day but the sheer amount of catching up this requires is putting me off. I donlt even know where to start.

I hope to but you know after starting episode 1 I felt a strong pull to watch western movies, including rewatching Sabrina :D So now I find myself in the grip of western movies again and I am also updating my indb and letterboxd lists. So my drama pull is weak at the moment and moreover I am getting annoyed at all the fan-drama surrounding Reply 1994- these kind of things kind of put me off watching k-dramas. We all fangirl but some fangirling is just too excessive and they tend to test my tolerance limits to extreme.

Yes, I'm pretty sure it does help. Reading helpes you with ortopgraphy/spelling as well as finding ways to form your ways of expression.

I was sure this would happen even without watching the drama...This is what happens when you only watch a drama for an idol rather than for the story. I am going to watch this at some point because I care not who the stupid husband is.I care about the story and its overall value.

If the story is good, I will be happy.

But I hate dramas where fans make it seem as if it;s only about who is more popular -.- such dramas hold little interest to me because they send the alert: it;s shallow, stay away, it's only about pretty boys, stay away.

I have NO interest in shallow story with just pretty boys in it! Why should I waste my time on something meaningless?

I hope this is not the case with this drama and it's not ALL about the silly husband game. If it is, I will be severly disappointed.

Oh! You're reading it! Happy reading, it;s a really good story! I watched it as anime. I don;t really have time to read mangas, I prefer to watch their anime versions. And in this case I was absolutely taken with Monster. It's the best anime series I;ve seen, the most ambitious one and no one will persuade me otherwise. What other animes/mangas do you like? Do you prefer mangas to anime?

Hi Yeona! How are you? lol of course they want to remake dramas. Hey, so did you finish Answer 1994? I heard some fans are unhappy. I read the spoilers and anyway I don;t CARE about who the husband is, I"m not going to judge a drama based on who the freaking husband is.

I see, I tend to prefer japanese to korean ones. Korean ones strike me as too artificial. Japanese calm my soul quite a lot. They know how to tell a good, heart-warming story without silly fillers. I'm tired of k-dramas to a large extent at this point, I"m tired of their pretentiousness and the whole crazy idol worship that surrounds them. Koreans are about looks, Japanese speak more to the soul and values for me.

and japanese dramas are all more or less 10 episode in length that's why i love them :D doi you watch japanese dramas?

I kind iof need to be more picky with dramas but I watch some from time to time. Right now though I'm trying to watch some western movies.

No, I don't skip, Dufresne, unless the drama is painfully predictable and I know what;s going to happenb basing on my experience with korean dramas- in most cases they repeat the same cliches over and over again. appreciate the d But I haven't had that in a while since I've become more picky in chosing dramas and I oinly appreciate thise dramas which really draw me in. The rest doeasn't count. Time is money. How are you?

Well when I do go to the theatre- and I love theatre because nothing compares to seeing live actors perform- I always do dress up -out of respect for the actors. Besides I always have this feeling especially at the end that they are able to notice this. So if I didn't dress up, I'd feel I was being rude. I guess it;s how I was brought up :) And musical theatre somehow seems even more grand - I've never been to those. I fully intend to go to Phantom of the Opera once I'm done with thesis. It will be my big reward if they will play it. They played it back in 2010 or 2011 but I couldn't afford to go back then, but I was so excited at the very thought that I'm within reach of great things. I often imagine Phantom of the Opera to be powerful so I"m glad to hear you say this. I want this feeling of goosepumps! lol.

I see. I like BBC dramas, especially the numerous remakes of Austen and Bronte and others, but I don;t really have TV so I can only rely on BBC iplayer but there's hardly ever what I want there.
