I am fine, today was a beautiful today so I went for a walk and it was refreshing.

Mothers hitting kids and yelling was what bothered me about Missing you, to be honest. Sheesh. It seems all they do in Korean families is hit each other. The brother was very brotherly though, I reeally did like him. But they do what sells, and will do everything for the ratings. I"m not sure I asked you this..and I"m sorry if I have, but you don;t watch any japanese dramas?

I find Lunge is obsessed with neither. He is obsessed with being right and with justice, but there is something about Tenma that doesn;t feel right to him and this Johann person is a mystery that goes beyond his ways of thinking so he's intrigued enough to investigate, I think. I just can't wait until you see the final arc. :D

Being here I would love to se a live musical one day but they tend to be costly and one should probably dress up correctly. I'm sure live musucal must be quite an experience.

Hi there. Ah. I see. Well, I do like anime but I tend to be picky and I don't like many genres. I can see you have a very specific interest in anime. Is it the only thing in anime you watch?

There was much controversy over the ending, but I thought it was all right to leave it open ended...except that I found it to be a compromise due to whathisname, Dong Hwa I think, fans. The dude can't act, he's just a pretty face. I felt sorry for Lee Dong Gun in all this but overall in the end they all became somewhat better so I guess it wasn't a complete waste. Still the drama was a total mess and especially the ending episodes- the writer introduced too many ridiculous cliches (what was happening to the ahjumma? some crazy amnesia and something else), rendering the drama a little pointless. This is what happens when you compromise the story for the ratings. They really should pre-produce dramas instead of producing as they air, I really do hate that in Korean dramas.

I like the young actors in Missing you. I saw him before, I think he will become a real heart throb in the future bit I hope he gets proper education. I felt the writer should not have gone for time travel- she is unable to do it well; the slice of life was pretty interesting but not too deep. But it was like she threw all cool things into one box with little sense- just anything that seemed cool and trendy. I was annoyed with YEH- in general I don't like her because her acting mannerisms are annoying and they are ALWAYS the same.

But I tolerate her if I like the drama- like I did in Coffee Prince. But she's really annoying on the whole, and her acting doesn't improve at all. I like han Hyo Jo better it turns out. I liked Lee Dong Gun;s character, he was a little quaint. But I think the drama overall suffered from changes introduced to the storyline because of ratings and fans of thant young idol, second lead. Overall it ended up not knowing what it wanted to achieve. But the idea in itself was not bad- I liked that YEH was a kind of identifiable character- single, in her 30s, struggling with career. Also, her brother was lovely. I really liked him.

Hi Winnie. :) I am fine, thank you. I just went to Tescos since the weather has been soooo beautiful and sunny and warm. We should have more of that. I got myself a treat- limited edition of Dairymilk's Winter Wonderland chcolate bar- what a creative idea they had to make choclate trees instead of normal choclate squares. There are many interesting limited christmas editions, Earlier this month I also saw this HUGE lindt Christmass chcolate, shaped as a Christmas ornament but it would be too huge to hang on a tree lol.

I;ll send you a PM but I know I totally love that song in its various interpretations. It;s just such a postive song, although in the context we are talking about also bringing sadness and maybe a little ironic, though also hopeful. Haha. I'm really glad you caught the monster bug. It's a really outstanding anime. We probably won;t find another like this for a very, very long time. It just stands in a league of its own!

What do you think of Lunge so far I wonder? :D He reminded me of javert from Les Miserables.

that monster review was actually kind of funny. lol. I do get his points about how some scenes could have been better handled but overall I didn't notice them really since most of the things were so well done. It makes me want to rewatch it lol.

I am planning to watch I hear your voice, I have heard it garnered many accolades :) I am a little curious about Gu Family Book as well but decided it's not a priority. For some time now I"ve been in japanese dramas As for Secret Love I found it so so, except for Ji-Sung, but plotwise not very strong for me or maybe I just wasn't in the mood for overly noble-minded heroine. Or maybe I just missed the point of the drama but it just didn't sweep me off my feet. It was well cast. Did you watch Missing you or the most controversial drama of this season possibly, Marry him of you dare? I'd be curious what are your thoughts about it.

I see, I don;t really remeber much of Iljimae I guess it was a forgettable drama after all. I was kind of interested in You who came from the stars but the plot sounds a little hmm dubious but I hope it will develop well. I'm about to start Dokushin Kizoku since I;m interested. Right now I"m in a Christmas romance mood so I"m trying to find something that would fit the mood. I wonder how you;ll like all about my romance, the cast is pretty good, especially shin ha kyung. I hear Prme Minister and I is pretty good but I haven't watched it yet. I feel like another slump may be coming.

Well I don't have the benefit of having seen the other movies so I don't have any arguments to discuss with you in this regard at the moment. But thank you for your very detailed perspective, it was a pleasure to read it. With time if I do watch the other movies I will let you know if I agree or disgree and to what extent. I will certainly keep your thoughts in mind when watching the remaining ip movies one day :)
