Oh nooo! I do hope she gets better soon. Please take carte of yourself. I'm not having a good Christmas day either but well it;s to be expected since I"m not at home so I miss my family. Christmas only just started! It'll be fantastic I'm sure!

Are you cooking for Christmas?

I am doing dissertation. As part of that, I do teaching...so I'm forced to go out of my shy comfort zone. However, if I'm meeting large group of people socially I almost never talk. I'm good one on one, but large groups scare the hell out of me. Students are different since it's strictly professional, but even with students..I sometimes don;t know what to say to them and mind goes blank, but this is a part of professional training. Also, I feel more like myself online when I feel no one really judges me in the same way so I feel more at ease to express myself as I am, but in reality I do tend to be withdrawn. On the plus side, my introversion makes me not be afraid of silence, I'm at ease with silence....It's a plus when doing classes sometimes if it;s difficult to elicit responses from the class.

Feed becoming cluttered is also my concern. I don;t usuaully remove friends who have been inactive, I wait for them to return to see what's up. There are thise I don;t really have much to talk about, though as we don;t share common language or understanding, so when I received my last random friend requests I kind of said that's enough.

haha. I only have like 40 friends on FB. But to be honest I don't feel like there is a need for more. The fewer the better because it;s more cosy and people are perhaps more trutsworthy as you know them more.

:D the new year's sales are tempting though. But not at 6 am in the morning :D

Winnie, as far as I can see every year before CHristmas people herte shop as if they were going to war not holiday lol. I was trying to buy some tinsel to decorate my accommodation room...nope! tough luck, tinsel is a Rare Commodity XD I finally lucked out in W&H.

It's getting a little too much, how do people even find us? I like making new friends but... the last person who did this I wrote them saying let's chat first. They never got back. Have you been getting many random requests?

I am glad to hear you are fine, though! It;s good the power cut was only so short. I went to Tescos yesterday....it;s very near to where I live so I tend to walk...I was afraid it would blow me away.
