by the way, which of the ip man movies did you like the most?

Blind detective was wacky lol. Mess of a movie, maybe a bit too much buuut Andy and Sammi Cheng are always a delight so it was a fun ride.
I do what I feel like, to be honest, Cheerful. There are times when I don't feel like watching any dramas and times when I feel like I can take lengthy dramas back to back. It's mood and time=dependent. Right now the weather is terrible=wind is howling, rain is falling, so I feel like watching with a cup of hot tea under hand.

Our first conversations were about slam dunk and slam dunk pished me into prolonged anime phase back then :D It's not my favourite sports anime though, I felt it was lacking in interactions outside the court. but it was funny. Did you watch Major? Reminiscing is not weird- I also often feel like reminiscing..In my case it's captain Tsubasa XD

haha. I used to have all these "hangable" (what a word...) bears and rabbits and gnomes and what not. I loved hanging them on the tree. Also there was this one egg I had received as five year old child from someone, a family friend and I always insisted that it MUST be on the tree XD Good times :D

You;re right, that's what I LOVED about Donnie the sense of authenthicity stemming from the fact he actually practied so hard.. Kevin Cheng is an idol, he makes his character likeable and I think he also tried his best to be beliveable so it's okay bit nit as authenthic as the donnie movies. As for the mostress, in some cases I do prefer mythology I think haha ;-D I'm glad there was a more factual movie made, though.

varies. I generally prefer japanese dramas- which tend to be 11 episodes and for japanese that is enough to tell a story without silly fillers. But I do not shy away from dramas which are up 80 episodes ling- usually korean saeguks would have that much. But the story has to be really good. I do not watch 50 eps of korean family dramas because they are not worth it. Japanese are far better with family themes and they don't need 50 episodes for that.

Drame ta zostawialbym na potem jak bedziesz miec lepsze wyczucie tematu to w tedy latwiej obiektywnie stwierdzic co ona warta.

Do you tend to watch dramas over 30 episodes long? Yeah, I kind of agree. Usually I am against them as I prefer if a story ends and is done. Sequels are usually just milking the franchose and shopw greed for more money but there are exceptions when I feel a sequel or two completes a given story. Nodame Cantabile is a good example.

well I watched steins gate the movie and I need t finish soujo cosette but I"m not in the mood just yet. Cosette is a great and pretty faithful adaptation of les miserables and I like it but..I lack the mood, you know? How about you?

That's all right, I know it's a busy period :) I'm probably the onyl one not doing much this time around. I'm not at home but I believe that Hector is all right. Getting chubby in winter though because he eats a little more than in spring-fall seasons, due to cold. That and he;s got a really rich fur, which during winter time makes him look chubbier than he really is.

more to the philosophy...I really want to see Wing chun philosophy explored better in some adaptation, the drama doesn;t do it but it's a good watch overall if one is not a purist. For drama watchers this coud be a good drama indeed. Kevin can bull of the kind of stoic appeal that was there in the movies decently, although he's really not Donnie...sorry here I am blabbing on about ip man, do you have any interest in martial arts history?

I just used him as an example similar ti Ryoma of a man who inspired many legends and I guess my basic point is that it;s impossible to prevent that and besides with audiences, like with students, you will never satisfy everyone, hence variety is always so welcome.
