does it matter? Howl;s is an adaptation and it;s phenomenal. I"m not sure if wall-e is original, I think it is.. but it's a beautiful story anyway. There was a cartoon version of lord of of the rings actually, it was..brief if I recall. I like singing and dancing, especially if actors are doing the singing. And anyway there is singing in lord of the rings..one of the hobbits sings to the steward of Gondor. I love old musicals,..but it wouldn;t fit with the gravity of lord of the rings, or shinsekai yori. ah. I thought the manipulation was done at the very start of the series when they saw the message from the past. That is I felt the village where they lived was a set up to keep them under control of some sort, I seem tor ecall there was some secret behind "adulthood" intinitation..or maybe I;m confusing this with Terra e..? I am going to pick it up from where I left it, the first few episodes did make impact enough to remeber the series, so I:ll be able to pick it up no problem.

Can't remember but there were those two boys and one of them disappeared at some point, and the other (blonde guy) one seemed to be in love with him or something, but the one who disappeared (darker hair) accused him of treating him like his toy? T I kind of felt weird vibes there.

I got up to a certain episode in shinsekai yori. There was something weird going on there between two boy characters if I recall, I mean it was one-sided so even more weird. I will return to it one day but I need to open my mind more.
