I like this show a lot so far. Yes, the tutor is kind of gross and yes, I believe he took advantage. However, it’s also reality that relationships can be messy and sometimes we get into situations that may not be the best for us long term. The tutor is doing one thing right, though - letting him go. He could have chosen to be manipulative or create drama, but instead he’s showing surprising maturity.

The dream sequence is right up there with my top 10 favorites. Their chemistry feels very natural, passionate and sweet.

I like this show more than I expected to and yes, it’s partially due to the visuals of the main leads. Yes, I’m shallow! 😁 I like the slow burn and how they’re like magnets to each other but at the same time trying to keep some distance.

While I was rewatching the NC scene and melting, I began wondering who the director is and what else they’ve worked on, so I looked it up. Kia Nathowat Piyanopong also directed “Your Sky”, another favorite of mine. I thought I recognized her style! The NC scenes aren’t the same in both shows, but the emotion and love that shines through - yes, definitely.

The ending had me rolling my eyes. I knew that was going to happen, but even though Koch suffered for a year he never even understood why Jira got so angry over the AI replicating his painting, let alone apologized! No fee pass should have been given. Koh really should have ended up alone. I’m picturing all kinds of drama playing out with these two, so I guess they deserve each other? Argh.

I’m kind of “meh” at this point - but then I read some of the hilarious comments below and I suddenly remembered how fun watching “My Stubborn” was! I’ll tune in for at least one more episode. Y’all are too entertaining for me not to!

For everyone questioning the 9.0 rating, sometimes we need the feel good escapism of a rom-com, especially when it’s so fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Was this objectively the best BL I’ve ever seen? In some ways, probably not - but for me it was the perfect refuge from very horrific things in the real world. It made me laugh, it made me feel lighter,and it put a big smile on my face. Comfort food for my soul; that’s why I rated it a 10.

I loved this series because it delivered exactly what was promised - a very cute and funny rom-com. It was sweet, it was executed very well, and I’m so glad there were no toxic parents! Sometimes we just need the fluff to bring us joy and make us smile. That’s why I rated it a 10.

Revenged Love very briefly hit 9, too.

I didn’t expect to love this series as much as I did! I smiled almost continually during this last episode. Thee is so over the top, but loving and sweet at the same time. The kids crowding in with them is so true to life and very endearing. The proposal was lovely and the wedding had me tearing up a little. This is just a fun, wonderful show. Well done, GMM TheeV!

This is one of the best BL shows I’ve ever watched. The characters are so intelligent. What I love the most is that FX didn’t have a 180 degree personality change. He’s still dangerous, he’s still protective and watching over YSL (and would have gotten rid of the new boyfriend without hesitation if he were bad), but he learned to give YSL enough space to live - and that’s why they’re together now. These two just fit like two puzzle pieces and that’s why I believe in their happily ever after.

Yes, it’s on Gaga. This show is best if you don’t binge watch it all over a couple of days. One or two episodes per day is a better approach.

I said, “No, no, no!” out loud and had to mute the last song! That song belongs to Sorn and Jun (My Stubborn) and no one else is allowed to steal it! 😂

It was in Episode 2 of My Stubborn, when Sorn is teaching Jun how to kiss. That’s one of my favorite kissing scenes ever. I think I’ve watched it more than 30 times. Make sure you see the uncensored version, not the You Tube one.

The scene when YSL was talking to his mother made me cry. And can FX do anything that isn’t calculated and manipulative?! At least he finally opened up about why he did all of this; that’s one step in the right direction. However, at this point he doesn’t deserve a happy ending.

I love the way YSL refuses to be manipulated any more than he already has been. And OMG, the pain both of them are experiencing when they think how their relationship was in the beginning! I really hope FX will catch a clue and realize you can’t trap someone into loving you and truly wanting to be with you.

I loathed Ming! I really wanted Joe to find someone else - anyone else, and I wanted to push Ming off a tall building! I feel very similarly about FX, but I want him tortured relentlessly first.

I was so obsessed when this show was airing that I built my morning routine around it on Mondays and Tuesdays, setting my alarm for. 4:30 a.m. so I could make my breakfast before 5:00 when the new episodes dropped. I regret nothing even though I went to work two or three times with red eyes! The tears were real. I miss them so much and the director really knew how to pull the emotions from this story.

This only works (sort of) in fiction, right? IRL, we should all run away as fast as possible from someone that messed up. I felt the same way about Ming in “My Stand-In”. I wanted Joe to end up with someone else - anyone else!
