I watched parts of episode 5 and 6 more than once. Our little soup maker isn’t quite the pushover that many of us thought he was. He didn’t get in the car and BLQ subsequently had to buy a birthday cake and appear in front of him later. XF also tried to give back the key, only to be told rather irritably that he should keep whatever is given. Should he have asked more questions about the last two years? Of course, but that’s not who he is. He has a lot of pride which keeps him from simply accepting BLQ’s gifts. I loved the offhand, “If you don’t want it throw it away” comments with both the phone and the scarf; BLQ knows his FanFan would die rather than throw away anything that can still be fixed or still used. And that scene when BLQ said, “You can wait but can I?” I get the feeling he has been starving for the taste and feel of XF ever since their breakup. My romantic heart loves this. There are definitely BD/sm elements to their relationship but both of them are into it, so I’m sitting here with popcorn.

I can’t totally suspend all logic - clothes on the ground outside the car in a parking garage and not one person arrives or leaves during their “interlude”? Yes, I know this is the drama within the drama but I rolled my eyes anyway. My favorite part was the exchanged words in the bathroom. I have a feeling the next two episodes will be a bit rough for our actors. I’m stilll loving this show!

Yes. Criminal charges and eventual imprisonment also come to mind.

Of course not, but thank you for setting people straight who might think otherwise! This show is so insane and I love it, anyway!

How many ethical violations does this show have? I’m entertained and here for all of it, but seriously, a therapist getting involved with their patient is probably one of the first lines a therapist in training is told not to cross! I know, I need to suspend all logic and for the most part I do - and then something like this happens and I’m laughing and shaking my head at the same time. Looking forward to tomorrow’s episode!

This episode was so annoying I don’t even want a second season. Argh.

It could be the director’s fault, because I agree, Pond’s acting is definitely a bit too much in this series when he has been so good in others.

I understand and even sympathize but I don’t want to watch this part. It’s not entertaining at all. It’s just painful and makes me feel second hand shame and embarrassment coupled with frustration.

I don’t want to be too uncomfortable; I want to be entertained. The latest episode is making me cringe. It doesn’t help that I know someone like this IRL and she has done nothing to take care of herself. It’s sad and frustrating.

I’m awake at 3:30 a.m. here in California because of these comments! Big Jane is telling Little Jane to ask him anything, but it’s a smokescreen because he doesn’t volunteer any info that would make Little Jane less suspicious and nervous. I was yelling at the screen, “Ask him about the lockets of blood!”

This is definitely a miscommunication trope, but then again, relationships that start quickly are usually full of red flags and this one is no exception. Big Jane can’t expect blind loyalty and trust; those come from spending years together, not just a few days or even weeks. Of course Little Jane is going to talk to others about the rumors, and I’d hope he believes his friends instead of this guy he barely even knows on a surface level. Breaking up is the only course of action that makes sense.

Now, is Big Jane going to find leverage to get Little Jane to come back? Yes, we already know that from the trailer - but it scares me that so many of you are trying to defend someone so blatantly manipulative and downright frightening . A demon, no matter how handsome, seductive and sweet on the surface, is still a demon.

And having said all of this, I’m seated for the duration because their dynamic is so interesting and fun to watch!

This episode was too painful in a deeply humiliating way. I watched just enough to understand what was happening, but I’m done with this series unless things drastically change. I need a character with more courage who will tell off everyone who is making a fool of him., not a martyr who does nothing but make soup.

I saw a You Tube vlog about the first episode and she said their interactions were like a spider spinning the web to trap the fly. It’s even more evident in this episode. All signs are pointing to Big Jane being an actual demon, which is so intriguing! Can a demon truly fall in love? Guess we’ll find out!

Also, I’m scared for the younger brother. That Big Jane made his usual offer practically right under Little Jane’s nose is just… wow.

There is no way I can take this show seriously. First of all, scenes in a film aren’t shot that way. There is blocking, multiple takes, flubbed lines, etc. And would they really have to live together for two weeks to get into character? Intimacy workshops with actual instructors, anyone? On the good side, the chemistry is definitely chemistrying! I’m here for that, but I’m not emotionally invested. This show is simply too silly.

Here is what I’m thinking:

1. Turn off all logic.
2. Take a crash course in Thai ASAP!

I like this so far and I fully believe Boat and Oat will save this show.

I loved the special episode and this series is going on my “best BLs” list. Their interactions feel so genuine. I even teared up towards the end, whether it’s because their connection and commitment choked me up or because my heart hurts at the thought of saying goodbye. I don’t want a second season; let them be happy and in love forever! I’ll just be here rewatching from time to time and enjoying them all over again.

Big Jane is dangerous as Little Jane is already finding out. I’m here to see how this plays out, at least for now, but there are already so many red flags!

I started this series on a whim; the title kind of put me off at first. I think I binge watched three available episodes and by then I was hooked. Great acting, I loved the back and forth between them, and I loved their eventual honesty and deep love for each other. I’ll miss them and I hope we get that special episode soon!

The director did an amazing job of ratcheting up the sexual tension until I could barely breathe. And then the kiss! I love that Tanrak didn’t move his lips when Barth first kissed him. This is very believable for a first kiss, especially in these circumstances. But when Tanrak initiated the next kiss… My heart will never recover! This whole episode was so perfect.

Those are two of my favorites, too, and this show definitely gives similar vibes.
