The show has three topics/genres revenge, romance and business all three fell flat because they keptg dappering all over the place. From the very moment the story began it started with the female lead and the male lead, they've always been intertwine from the start.

It's not bad but it's also not good enough. Wasted potential if we're honest. They should've had more scenes together as a couple, Sheng fengze should've experience retribution, they could've did without killing off Yu Ling Long. They showed us all the painful scenes of Ji YingTing but not a single satisfactory scene where Jinglan took revenger for her. Furthermore the commisioner died too easily. he should've beaten to pulp had his family exile then have him walk the streets of yizhou while the people of the city along with the artisans stone him and threw rotten vegetables at him. he needed to be publicly humiliated for all the innocent lives he took.

Well yes if we're speaking logically. seeing that he's delirium and hallucinating removing all factors causing the medication not to work is the way. But that's not the point i was trying to make, going off of what you said it just doesn't make sense how he didn't inquire or tried to attend her funeral. if he saw all of those proves even if he didn't remember her a normal person at the very least would accept her existance to a degree no? If according to what everybody said about how he believed her because she explained everything to him shouldn't seeing all of the past messages photos etc also made him believe too?

he wasn't running out of time she was cause it was pass her three day wake. if she went away he wouldn't have return this quickly instead he would've continued to wonder around until he found the shop on his own just like the police officer after he saw abnormalities. Looking at his reaction/facial expression from when he hugged her for the last time does not show pity or feeling bad. furthermore everybody needs to find their lights from a free will so whether its to reunite with their love ones, keep a promise or simply their will to be back where they belong a will is needed. He can't just simply take her word for it or else he wouldn't know exactly what to look for more than its just a light. So even though he might seemingly know the truth he hasn't come to face reality yet. She was referring to when he woke up forgetting her again, if he had believed her but not remember like you said then when he woke up he wouldn't have been confused saying peope around him said he had a gf but he can't remember; in reality wouldn't he have atleast remembered the version of her from the limbo and go pay his respect at her funeral? He was hallucinating and still delirium. Also you have to remember who around him would be telling him he had a dead gf? he didn't have friends and as we already saw his parents wouldn't tell him that especially when he's in recovery.
Something he said "the sun is out and bright but it feels like night to me" this kinda shows that though he doesn't remember her, the version of experiencing from limbo kinda still lingers with him. so though he doesn't remember her according to his memories (that aren'gt from the time in the limbo but before the accident) his mind is forcing him to remember the version of her from the limbo coupled with her lingering haunting presents around him. When he decided to give up on remembering the only thing remains was Ji Yeong haunting spirit and we see her reenacting how she died infront of the apartment. This is to keep him from trying to give up on recovering the memories of her.

You see in the end she's getting ready for her funeral but she holds resentment on why he no longer remembers her after all she did to make him. Finally you see Hyunmin taking the advice from the therapist to remove any unwanted objects from his life that is preventing his recovery and that's why he threw away the phone. This upset Ji Yeong bad and now she decides to haunt him forever hence you see her showing up hanged infront of him when he went back to his apartment.

I aint understand nothing you said except for the first part so i'll cover that. Even if she told him he's still oblivious to HIS* truth and reality. No matter what you NEED willpower to continue to live to find the light shop to find your light.

Hyewon started to remember from the very momemt Ji Yeong went on the bus and demanded he remembered her and pulled his shirt open for him to see his scar stomach which he didn't notice before. he also realized nobody else could see him on the bus. That's why even after Hyewon came back to the land of the living J i Yeong haunting spirit kept lingering around him wondering why he forgot her again.

The school boy wondered around for nights and pass the show several times and only found it after remembering he's not "alive". Seon Hae couldn't leave the house because she refuse to face the reality of the truth. Byeonjin entered the shop chasing the dog that saved him but couldn't find his light because he still didn't know his truth.

The story wouldn't have made any sense if Hyewon was the only one who didn't remember or use his will power to live to find his light of life. But let's agree to disagree. Maybe I have a better/different understandinga dn interpretation because I read the manga and watched both chinese and korean version of the show.

That doesn't make sense when you look at Hyun Ju and her mother. The mother knew about the light shop and sent her to buy hers everynight but she still wasn't able to find it until she learnt the full truth abot why she was there. I still think you can't find your light if the truth is unknown to you.

Here's the thing fpr you to wake up, You'll first need to accept the reality of the truth. Hyewon remembered Ji Yeong but will now be separated again from her for life, it wasn't is will to comeback to life that made him find his light but rather his love for Ji Yeong and wanting to keep his promise and do her that last favor of finding his light. That's why you heard the shopkeeper say that he can see he didn't come on his own will. Another example of this is Seon hae dropping her light because her desire to be with her gf even in death outweighed her own will to live. She accepted that her gf is dead and that she's in a coma hence she found the shop and her light and even able to wake up briefly. When the bulb fell the lights also left her eyes.

Here's the thing he couldn't have. For you to find your light it takes your will to live so whether for yourself or for your love ones left behind. You need to remember your accident and why you're there you cannot be oblivious to the truth if you are to ever wake up.

That's why all of them kept wondering around but still wasn't able to see the shop and even for the ones who did find it they found it only looking for something else or because someone showed them the way.

An example of this was Yu Hui constantly sending Hyun Ju to the light shop every night but she still wasn't able to find her "own light" even after visiting several times. Another one was the police officer, Yang Sung sik came to the shop about two times chasing the scooter noise however he wasn't able to find is light until he remembered relatively enough and saw that he appeared different. ByeonJin who kept hearing the barking of the rescue dog, he also wasn't able to find is light until he realized who the dog was and that made him remember what happened to him.



The dead will always inevitably always cut ties with the world of the living. It's a MUST. He didn't remember her because she severed her red thread of fate when she committed suicide. If you watch the drama "Tomorrow" or have a understand of Chinese mythology you'll get what I mean.
That is why Kim Sang Hyun has a job; so that he can guide those who are dead to the "correct" afterlife. That's what he was doing chasing after the girl who died in the fire. she couldn't accept that she was dead hence she was wondering around the light shop. If you realize Sang Hyun didn't chase the bus driver or HyeWon or Yu Hui because all three already accepted that they were dead and would've left on the third day according to the three-day wake rule. Hyewon got stay longer because her family had to fly in to bury her. The bus drover died a little later than the other two and on his third day he departed to the final afterlife trying to get Hyunju to the light shop.

Yes it isn't about hell in this case but that's how it is on the broader spectrum. people who commit suicide aren't reunited with their love ones even if they're on the same path neither do they reincarnate. so even if they do meet again they'll only ever be strangers. For example all the other dead love ones were able to help the ones who are still living to ffind their lights while even after Hyunmin remembered a bit and ended going to the shop, the shopkeeper realize he didn't come to find his light on his own he still didn't have any will to cross back over or you could say it wasn't his time to wake up yet. He then ended up forgettting her when he woke up again even though he had remembered before crossing back over. He was still in delirium state so he should've still remembered but even then he didn't.

Remember that the died when the daughter was around 4-8, she reappeared before her father at age 54 if you were watching clearly you'll see that Yu Hui only remembered him after he took his glasses off. i.e she fell to the floor but her eyes didn't turn full white. This is because when he return with her light he had already traded places with the shop keeper. Once she recognize him from the eyes she quickly remembered that's her dad and his last moment he fed her candy hence she gave him the sweets then he also remembered her.

This was so good.

I know alot of people will say its confusing but you just have to watch in third person if that make sense. It's just as if you were reading, you need to put yourself into the character and their positions.

so the first episode were about the characters who died but haven't realized it yet, they should have alreeady pass over but instead they're wondering in the area meant for the ones who are still alive haning on waiting to find the light. just like "ghost being in the land of the living "strangers" don't belong in the area where the light shop is.

The second and third episode then shows you a slight backstory into each person and their accident a little about their family and love ones etc. THEN by time you're at the fourth episode you should now be able to put everything together and understand the story a little bit clearer.

Hyunmin didn't remember his gf because she committed suicide, everyone who commits suicide will inevitable go to hell and permanently separate from their love ones, even if their on the same part they'll never end uo meeting no matter what. The park Hyewon became twice her height because she was on the back of her gf, so it's both their height combine plus their hairs( i'm guessing for this one). We all can guess why Yu Hui couldn't talk already.

I really want it to have a part two. I kinda want to know more about Park Seonu case. What exactly happened with Kwon Yeong Ji and her accident. Also the last scene with Hyun Min was just so creepy. I guess she's going to haunt him with reenactments of her suicide since he decided to throw away the phone the last remaining thing tying them together. What about the detective wife? did she leave him because he wasn't there when she had the miscarriage? I don't think they necessarily think they left out any important answers but it would've been good to know the answers to the above.

I really can't stand anybody in the Lee family. What gives them the right to treat Seo Gang Ju like filth? Like yes he burnt down the store but didn't he compensate for it? It wasn't his fault, the grandma literally carelessly knocked over the oil bottle, the fire could've started anyhow. He even almost die saving those old hags but not even a thank you or a check to see if he was okay after he literally fainted from inhaling so much smoke. And what makes them tink they have the right to be upset over the three million burnt? Don't they know they have no claim over that money? People with shame and good conscience woud've attleast been grateful they boy saved their lives instead they were fuming and snickering over money that they stole. Let's say they were angry in the moment because they didn't know if they'll be able to recover the rest of the buried money, but since they were and now have more than what was lost in the fire shouldn't their attitudes change? Just disgusting. Gang Ju should've ran out in panick ad let them burn to ash. And then there's the mother. I understand she loves Taewoong but Baek Ji yeon and Gang Ju haven't even left the house for a month yet but here she is pushing Taewoong into the crack. It's almost as if she's glad a happy home got broken up, like she was waiting for it to happen.

Fuck Taewoong, ion care what kind of pitiful life he lived, because of his actions and the actions of people around him I really can't stand his ass either. Everybody keep acting like the chairman owes him something but he literally don't. The mother had the child without telling him, and the relationship was built from conning. Who is she to stake claims over the chairman asset when the money that built that company was from Ji Yeon father loan shark business? If her father didn't step him there wouldn't have been a company that size today. It should be inherited by who put towards it.

Let's talk about the two face bitch of a sister Lee Cha Rim what the hell is with her and her gr3eed and obession of others downfall? There's not a single backstory the writers will be able to give to change my mind about her attitude towards people around her. She's just selfish regardless of her circumstances. no excuses at all. All of sudden she wanna profess her love because she knows Taewong has money, her ass is so shallow is disturbing. Are people really that shameless in real life? I really do hop her ass get some real reality check. She shouldn't continue living her life like that. everytime she's onscreen my skin crawls.

I really dislike Baek Ji yeon because of how naive and foolish she is but I hate the chairman even more. Like i've seen cold characters before, but him? he's just plain ridiculous. I hate how he keeps making Gang Ju grovel for his attention. Like is it hard to understand and let him off or at the very least investigate whether he used the company money or not? He literally said he didn't and the chairman had the resources to prove it yet he didn't even try to bring him justice. Had he done that Gang Ju could've kept his job, yes there would've still been issue but atleast everybody would've known the truth and he wouldn't have been humilated before being kicked out. I really hate is stupid rich face. so dumb.

Either is show is poorly written or Woojin isn’t the real killer.
Base on what’s been shown already the killer is very meticulous and has hardly left any evidence behind. This can allow us to assume that he’s a pro to a certain degree. Now for a killer to go to such extra mile to prepare themselves and not leave any evidence and for Woojin who has medical knowledge why didn’t he murder in a cleaner easier way. For the first victim the girlfriend he couldn’t easily killed her but attacking a vital organ or vein but let’s say he was somewhat nervous and it was done sloppily why didn’t he leave the scene? When she started getting stabbed jeong woo was at the hospital he had ample time to leave why was he still there for jeong woo to see him??also he supposedly was to be out of the country why has nobody try and verify if he was in the country or not?? Another thing the patient that wanted the reconstruction surgery for her burn why did he volunteer to be apart of the surgical team and why didn’t he attempt to finish her off sooner? Idk it still doesn’t make sense to me that a plastic surgeon/ medical practitioner had to stab her that much when he could’ve killed her cleanly with hitting a vital organ since she presumably saw his face. And why is there no news about the girl who kept taking photos when it was happening. Shouldn’t he have tried to finish her off too? Things aren’t making much sense when put into perspective. Ofc he could be the killer but the way he sloppily kills yet able to not leave evidence cause he covers his hands and shoes just doesn’t make sense even if he wanted to kill in a violent manner.
