Enjoyable bingeable drama with some flaws. Some plots felt under developed and it could have done better with character development, specifically for the main female lead who was very underdeveloped in my opinion.
Wasn't good at all. Waste of good actors, this is the second time I've seen Kim Nam Gil and Ha Jung Woo collaborate on a mediocre project. Disappointing.
Enjoyed this, the acting and cinematography were good. I know the Director is the same from Secret Love Affair and found it a bit odd or distracting the number of scenes and dialogue which were which were very similar to that drama. Overall it was a watchable well-acted slow melodrama, though some plot points and characters could have been developed further.
Enjoyed the earlier episodes it was a good blend of comedy, mystery and romance but the latter half was rather lacklustre and the chemistry of the trio wasn't great.
I enjoyed especially the earlier half, the later episodes felt like a different show in some ways (time skips, random things, disappearances of some background characters etc, wish it had maintained the same setting throughout. The acting was good, Son Seok Koo is very charismatic, liked him since I first saw him in 'Mother'.
So who was Goliath? It wasn't Pil Joong or Noh Yoon Goo. Did they ever explain who the person in the mask seen on the computer after discovering the cop's body was?
I enjoyed the first two-thirds of this drama, but then it started to drag (too many unnecessary talking scenes) and the last episode left too many loose ends, even if they are aiming for a third season. I preferred season 1, it was more contained and focused.
To be honest, when season 1 came out and it was on SBS, I didn't want to watch it. I just thought the premise of the drama, suited OCN better. But I enjoyed season 1, it was dark and intense even with the comedic elements.
Season 2 seems to have veered towards the more generic corny revenge team dramas. There was very little character development for the main characters.
In season 1, Do Ki got injured and even hospitalised after some fights but this season, he was practically indestructible, it was a bit too unrealistic.
I think they just generally toned down the intensity from season 1 ( the last few episodes of season 1 also reflected this) to extend the series and appease some audience members who perhaps had issues with the revenge aspects.
I still enjoyed it, the acting is good. Lee Je Hoon is very charismatic and the cast chemistry is good.
Decided to check this out as a fan of Kim Hee Ae, the acting was good and it was fast-paced, but there was nothing new to the genre and the last 2 episodes seemed very rushed. It seems to be a drama that would have benefited from a few more episodes for better character development., but it was a good binge-watch.
Started off interesting even with the MC's stupid decisions but got boring towards the end. The MC never got smarter, things just happened around him. The acting was very good but the plot was weak.
I think Shin Min Ah's character has faced some major tragic loss, something about her whole scene seemed strange, it's possible the husband and child are dead and are figments of her imagination
An intriguing psychological thriller, that doesn't offer easy answers. Admit to being bored at some points, it meandered unnecessarily but was worth watching , the acting and cinematography were excellent
I rarely watch historical dramas and this was truly the best one I've watched. It was really refreshing to see one from the point of view of the common people, most dramas usually focus on the royal family. Great acting from all the cast, Good to see so many diverse female characters as well. I found YSY's acting a little hit and miss especially during the latter part of the drama, his facial expressions were a bit over the top but otherwise a great drama, you keep watching even when you know how it will end.
