This show is nowhere near as bad as some of the comments have made it out to be. I've seen a lot worse crime dramas. I just hope it doesn't go downhill now that The Guy has been revealed. If they really wanted to catch him fast they could try an age progression on the photo of him as a child that would give them some idea. Kudos to the child actor he was really creepy seems like he had no conscience at all.
Just finished watching this and on the issue of the traitor. I know that for dramatic purposes the traitor being the guard will have an emotional impact on the Crown Prince, but wasn't it just logical for Minister Cho to assume that the Prince was going to see Ahn Hyeon, he's the person the Prince would obviously visit to gain support in his situation. Speaking of Ahn Hyeon, I think he may not be the hero he is perceived to be . The show is very good and hope for more character and plot development. But like others have said, 6 episodes is too short
I've been putting off this drama for so long now, I want to watch it (mainly bc of Jo Seung Woo
Have thought Lee Dong Wook was a bad actor since I first saw him in scent of a woman. He's improved somewhat but this drama is worth watching for Cho Seung Woo and the other good actors along with a well written script
My theory Sang hun is orchestrating this as crazy as it might seem. He wants the truth to be revealed which I think has to do with the JQ factory. I think the factory was involved in something like toxic waste dumping or something but something that lead to the death of people and the journalist found out.
Still haven't comprehended Team Leader Do's mental health issue?! Could anyone elaborate?
The writer should have done better research on anti social personality disorder and psychopathy. It was like Do was fighting against turning into a vampire/werewolf or something. Psychopathy isn't something that can be cured and Team Leader Do seemed to lead a pretty normal life in season 2 understandably depressed about his partner's murder but he didn't display any signs of psychopathy
This drama was quite interesting in the first few episodes but had uneven quality overall and disappointing ending in my opinion. Sometimes the comedic elements felt forced and didn't fit with the tone of particular episodes. With so much death and destruction around it was jarring to see the cops gossiping and playing around including the main detective knowing what was at stake. The female lead started off with potential of being a powerful shaman but in the end she was rather weak and although somewhat refreshing to have a male lead who was not super macho and great at everything Pil Seung was just too weak and him hiding out whilst his friends died gruesome deaths made me dislike the character a lot, he was too selfish and cowardly. Both characters seemed to stop using their brains after the dead detective failed to kill child version of HDD. They gave up too easily considering what was at stake and the ultimate solution. Also a lot of elements and characters were wasted including the cops, the male shaman and the souls trapped in the tree (which was very good imagery I liked it).
Good re watch value, good script, good acting not only by the leads but by the supporting cast as well, really made you empathize with the various characters. Jo Jin Woong was particularly outstanding. Deserves its hype
I'm kind of assuming the girl in green in just Woo Kyung being mentally unstable. Or she's actually the serial…
she is possibly the mastermind, and didn't necessarily have to commit the murder herself. her conversation with So Ra's mother was suspicious, she seemed to be clueless about what she was talking about. I think she suffers from some form of dissociative disorder and the guard and the female cop are possibly part of it. The girl in green could be a representation of her younger self/ aspect of her personality
Started of well but never really lived up to its early potential. The plot dragged on too much and the 'ghost logic' was not very logical. It seemed like they kept just adding stuff to prolong the plot. Although I usually prefer serial arc type of stories, this series would have benefited from single story type episodes in addition to the main villain story arc.
Great cast chemistry. Liked how it never took itself too seriously and maintained the 'comedy' in romantic comedy until the end. Fast paced and heartfelt really enjoyed it and SIG's performance.
I have binge watched the first ten episodes and I find the series enjoyable but its a bit confusing, it's like I've missed a few scenes sometimes. The Morgan Kim thing, the cat?? But I'm enjoying it so far the acting is good, I'm just wondering if there is really much more to reveal, we know Ki San is Cho Young Bae and it seems the real Ki San and Esther are Yoo Jin's parents, just wonder why the old man the father went along with it since he didn't consider Cho Young Bae as an heir
I hope not though, as soon as I saw the actor, I was like that's him xD
Hope not too for the same reason, too obvious for the audience and will make the characters look foolish for not picking it, especially Hwa Pyung and Detective Kang who have no affiliation with the priest
We never seen her yet but she seems pretty crazy and she's part of that organization the guys found a connection…
I think both Priest Yang and the congresswoman are high level Park Il Do followers/servants. Priest Yang was too dismissive about Hwa Pyung being possessed as a child. I think he's been involved for a long time
I actually found this second season better than the first. The first season was all over the place with no character development and really sloppy police work. I binge watched season 2 and it got better as it went, fast paced and good acting liked LJW's acting and Lee Ha Na being more of an active participant in the series. Look forward to season 3 hope it doesn't get too convoluted
