I binge-watched both seasons and after finishing season 2, I found season 1 better in terms of pacing, character development and medical cases. A standout case this season was of the two mothers with children in need of a heart transplant, it was very well acted and touching. The last episode unfortunately also felt very flat to me., but overall a good series.
High quality drama enjoyed it. I do have a question never quite understood the motivation for the former doctor cheating on exams though. why did he do it? thatcwhole storyline was poorly developed in my opinion. why leave a medical career in the first place and then cheat and be prosecuted. in the end it seemed to be a plot device to provide Yang with an alibi.
can someone explain me more about "oz organization"?because i've watched over 'n over, but I quite didn't understand…
Agree. From the end of episode 19 my speculation is that it was some top secret program to monitor children with the psychopath gene and probably? prevent them from killing people or use them to kill undesirable people but that President's secretary seems to be a psychopath herself and seems to be using the project to fulfill her won psychopathic tendencies.
Yo Han getting bullied and almost killing himself doesn't seem to sync with the kid we've seen so far. He killed some goldfish and a dog in retaliation I think he would have found a way to retaliate against those bullies even if they could physically overpower him. JBR was really creepy this episode, it won't end well for Moo Chi and Bong Yi
But in all honesty, is the kind kid in the beginning ofepisode 11 really Yohan? I mean, they have completely different…
It is easy to assume that those two kids are Yo Han and JBR but the kind person we've heard about so far in the series apart from JBR is Chi Kook . He was described as a very good person, not taking credit for his good deeds etc. JBR even reacted strangely when the reporter talked about the interview she'd done with him as a teenager. This was before his head injury and surgery, I think there's a possibility it could be him. The aunt definitely seemed uncomfortable with JBR spending time with her son in this episode. If this series goes the big conspiracy sci fiction route with Dr. Lee and Head Hunter running experiments on children for decades, then she could be his 'handler' monitoring him for years as some sort of elaborate experiment I really hope that's not the case though.
also the amount of action going on in that one episode in the same time frame:Moo Chi getting into a crash and…
I think JBR received the call from the reporter (keep forgetting her name) and that prompted him to stop what he was about to do to the kid. He left, went after Bong Yi, struck Moo Chi on the head or that could be Dr Lee's assistant to prevent him from interfering and then killed KDS.
Ba Reum was literally shedding tears reading Bong Yi's case files, I still have doubts of him being a psychopath…
That could be Yo Han's influence if we assume JBR was the killer all along. I think the writer added that scene to also highlight the real case that Bong Yi's case is taken from. Cho Doo Soon was recently released and the outrage has been obviously high with demands for change of legislation. What happened to the real life victim was truly horrendous.
I don't understand how Ba Reum could be the 7DS killer all along. Why was Yo Han trying to kill Ba Reum at the…
Yo Han's behavior was unnecessarily suspicious if he was completely innocent. But it does seem like he was following Ba Reum and suspected him. The only reason I can of think of why Yo Han wouldn't have just gone to the police was to protect his mother. It seems there was a baby switch at some point and I think Yo Han was not the head hunter's son at all. The Head hunter seems to have realized this when he read an article about blood tests for prisoners.
I enjoyed Times but it seemed to be two different dramas in one. The first half was fast paced thriller, the latter half slower paced political drama. I think it would have been a better drama overall if it had stuck to one genre. The acting was very good though.
This show is interesting the first episode was very intense but it could get ridiculous by the end if they add silly stuff like brain transplant performed by a serial killer. It would be a refreshing change if Ba reum was actually the serial killer but i doubt it because of LSG's positive image. His friend who's now a prison guard or Moo chis former partner are my most likely suspects. Bareum either lied about Bong Yi's grandmother's attacker being left handed or there are 2 culprits.
Enjoyed this drama especially the first half, but it ended up being the evil chaebol chairman as the bad guy yet again , which was a bit disappointing but otherwise good drama. I was particularly impressed by Lee Se Young's acting, she was great.
I guess i gotta be the party pooper again...I think the drama is overrated since it feels like the first episodes…
agree with all this, struggling to finish this. It became so predictable after episode 10, it just became another overly melodramatic makjang drama typical of most kdramas which is unfortunate.
I think that Season 2's ending will be magnificent. There is a reason that this series is pre-produced. TVN trusts…
I watched most of season 1 live and I enjoyed but I have to agree that on second and third re watch I enjoyed it even more, there were so many interesting things going on and even minor characters had impact. I think Season 2 has really picked up the pace around midway and I'm enjoying it
I have one question. Was it ever stated why the first victim (Ko Eun Ju mentioned episode 4) was killed? I know Heo Jae Man was ordered to kill Kim Sun Hee and Han Jong Gu killed the second woman so did Heo Jae Min just kill her on his own?
A little too much telling and not showing this season, and a bit too preachy in the early episodes but its still interesting. Even the cinematography feels different, season 1 had such an introspective feel. Still looking forward to the upcoming episodes
Can anyone clear up the ending for me? Mi Na had died, right, then why did he see her? Hallucination?
Late reply but he was hallucinating. He saw her happy with her friends and classmates who all died in the Sewol ferry disaster. All the students he saw were dead including her.
Enjoyed binge watching this series. Great premise and mystery especially at the beginning but fell to the common kdrama tropes in this genre towards the end. Really enjoyed all the cast performances, the female leads were really good.
