I think Tae Wook accidentally killed him. But am not sure about who placed that brooch there. Most likely it is…
Wild thought, maybe the two women did it (Hye Ran and Eun Joo) both had strong motivation, Hye Ran came home very shaken the night of Kevin Lee's death and Eun Joo was calling her desperately (of course there are already other explanations for those scenes)
omg! I just finished ep 12. Is kang tae wook really the murder? I mean kang tae wook cried when she told him about…
I think Tae Wook cried because he realized that Hye Ran was lying to him. She told him nothing happened between her and Kevin Lee but he saw the video evidence that something did happen although Hye Ran denies everything even her previous relationship with Kevin Lee
The ending was very rushed and there were too many opportunities to rescue Saet Byul which failed just for the sake of it. Rather disappointing end but otherwise very good thriller, the highlight being Jo Seung Woo and the child actress for me.
Best thing about this drama was Kim Tae Hoon, and Joo Sang Wook's 'bad acting' those parts were hilarious. It seemed ridiculous that So Hye's family was never shown again and the whole Baek Seol plot seemed to be a different drama
Really enjoyed this drama and was happy that it wasn't about police or prosecutor corruption for a change. Choi jin hyuk was really convincing as a detective from the past and the chemistry between the cast was great. There wasn't that much mystery to the story but it was very engaging and thrilling until the end
Probably one of the best opening episodes I've seen in a k drama but unfortunately the rest of the series was really mediocre, the only decent performance came from Kim Jae Wook.
Hated this show honestly, the first episode was interesting but there was absolutely no substance to the story. It was so repetitive, how many times did we need to see the queen's death scene. so much wasted time and potential. Eun Tak was incredibly incredibly annoying, Kim Shin was not believable as a General of any era too soft and childish.
Would have been better as a straight comedy with the main characters being the Reaper and Kim Shin as awkward room mates and their hi jinks.
I like many others enjoyed this drama. It was mostly good until the end when they had that nonsensical ending. They also tried to put too much in the story that it ended up creating plot holes and took away time from more interesting story lines.
Just one thought though
SPOILER
Why was Black's personality so different from Reaper 416/ Hip Hop reaper. They were both just kids when they died. It's understandable that Joon would be angry and bitter about what happened to him but 416 seemed to have remained a kid at heart and Black was just different even up until the end.
I guess it leads me to another issue I had with the series. I wanted more exploration of the whole underworld mythology, how it all really worked, more about the reaper who became Ha Ram's dad etc
I don't get what Min Ah has to do with the first murder case, what's the point of her character?
Park Moo Sung was her pimp (sort of) and introduced her to all these powerful men like Chief Lee, Chief Kim etc. We don't know what secrets or information she could have got from those interactions plus she was underage for some of the time she was sleeping with those men so that's a crime.
I'm just going to ramble on and get it out of my system.. It was so heartbreaking to see that look on Woo…
I think Human B could have created a clone. Cloning is already carried out on animals with successful results so cloning humans though not yet possible wouldn't be too far fetched for a shady organization like Human B. I think Woo Jin sacrificed himself in 2017 (killed himself) for the benefit of his brother, Han Jung Yeon and humankind since he knows how dangerous such technology can be in the hands of morally bankrupt people like the Professors.
So I think a clone or series of Woo Jin clones (since they apparently don't survive long, OK am taking that from Duel) have been operating the supercomputer.
Byul is ultimately the answer and her sacrifice in whatever form it takes may save everyone
