The next one will be apparently called "Scandal" in Korea (global name would differ). Han Chae Young is the FL…
Cast can be stellar for all I care, but it means little to nothing in the face of shoddy writing. This currently airing drama is a prime example of it.
And speaking of which, that screenwriter for "Scandal" wrote "Red Shoes", a 2021 KBS2 drama. I haven't watched it, but judging by the comments, it seems as they screwed the pooch on the ending. If that wasn't enough, the director set to direct this drama has directed 2 KBS1 dailies in the past, both of which ranged from being mediocre to bad at best, despite their promising beginnings.
And the cherry on top? This is a drama airing on KBS, which means that at some point for no reasonable reason, the higher-ups can choose to change the direction of the drama to their liking, which they have done in many of the more recent KBS dailies.
So in conclusion? My expectations are very low, but maybe there's a 0.01 percent chance I'll be surprised.
I originally found this out through a JP fan account. Kang Eun Tak himself posted on his Instagram about the marriage, wishing that he could have been the one to relay the news himself(various media outlets had posted the marriage announcement by that time). https://www.instagram.com/p/C6X-StkyPqU/?img_index=1
Does anyone know the name of the drama that follows The Two Sisters? I stopped watching in the middle of Episode…
Unfortunately as far as I'm aware no. None of the wikis that I periodically check for updates has any thing, and the search bars only show stuff on the currently airing ones.

They just insist on dragging this drama out. Now, it won't end until May 7th, unless they double the episodes…
When they adjusted the number of episodes to 132, they accounted for the election happening which would affect the broadcasting of this drama. The election most likely is the last thing that will affect the drama's airtime. Should anything else happen that warrants a cancellation of an episode, they will most likely cut out stuff as I presume they don't want to push back the date their next daily drama "The Brave Yong Soo Jung" begins airing.
Parliamentary elections in South Korea. Majority of normal broadcasting at that time is cancelled for coverage of the results(goes for over half a day). At the time I'm writing this, most of it's already wrapped up. Tomorrow SHOULD be back on the regular schedule.
Let's see if screenwriter Seo Sook Hyang still has it after a 6 year gap between the last work she wrote!
One thing to note as this is her first time writing a longer running series(50 episodes, airs every Saturday and Sunday), will be a nice test to see how this writer will hold her own as the storyline hits their highs and lows. There is a drama she also wrote that's set to air sometime in 2024 as well on tvN.
Han So Hee is so perfect for the role. It's a huge loss for her.
Perhaps, but one staying on after the other opts out due to something affecting the both of them would just bring more bad light to the former. This is probably the best decision the both of them could have made regarding this.
MDL must have the leads order wrong, seems to me Yoon Shi Yoon and Bae Da Bin are the first leads.
It was mentioned years ago, but MDL purposely had them listed in order of the main characters' ages rather than based on who are the primary leads, secondary leads, and tertiary leads. With the primary leads being in the middle, the secondary leads being older, and the tertiary leads being younger.

The four leads of this one: Uhm Hyun Kyung(FL/protagonist), Seo Joon Young(ML/Protagonist), Im Ju Eun(2FL/Villainess), and Kwon Hwa Woon(2ML/?)
Expected to begin on May 6th.

I imagine it wasn't a fun experience for the rest of the actors since they have "He Who Must Not Be Named" casted alongside them.
