LOL It's so easy to say that as an international fan but thank goodness the majority of Taiwanese fans don't buy that. Defending the plagiarism thing is the worst way of defending if you can't come up with something persuasive. The fan meeting in Taiwan and the pre-order of DVD sales have said a lot since they pretended nothing happened. If you die-hard International fans really love them, I suggest fans could make some donation page and support them with your money. But the truth is most of the international fans watched this franchise through illegal platforms and never payed anything so...supporting them online through words is not that important in this case though.

Are you not knowing my point? The plagiarism thing is the one I'm talking about. Since when was it okay that taxpayers' money used for this copycat project that could potentially sabotage Taiwan's reputation? Don't you know the writer of Lucky Kun confirmed that they'd do something about this, not to mention that since season 1, HIStory has been shown in Japan in which HIStory has gained lots of Japanese fans. Many Japanese fans are now aware of this thing and Taiwanese fans have to apologize to them on twitter. However, the official and the writer still keep silent and actors had to come forward to take the bullets for the official. I don't think any sensible Taiwanese fans could tolerate that.

What made Taiwanese fans much angrier was they also got the funding from the Taiwanese government of the ministry of culture 'cuz Taiwan's current government is really pro-LGBT and progressive. The funding accounts for 1/3 of the budget. And they promised the fans they would do them proud by producing amazing dramas. However, they hired a scripwriter who allegedly copied other person's work. That's not how you wasted taxpayers' money.

Even with the horrible ending, MODC is still better than HIStory1 for me. HIStory 1 was just an experimental product to test the reaction of the Taiwanese audience. I don't like any of them, to be honest. Especially Obsessed with those forced scenes really kept me from liking it.
Just wanna to tell you guys. The happy ending was written by other BL writer 'cuz HIStory usually published a novel written by other writer after the show had ended. HIStory 2 and Trapped also had novels but they were all badly written, imo. But MODC's novel is quite good though. The new writer really made the story reasonable and explained some things in her own way. I remember people felt it's really weird that both couples got closer really soon after ShiGu kneeled down in front of Hao Ting. The new writer did tell us what happened after that and gave us what ShiGu was thinking and why he fell in love with Hao Ting afterwards. They should've hired this unknown writer than that lousy writer who couldn't even tell a good story.
Some people in the Taiwanese forums said the initial main creator in the production team left and went to other company and some power battles happened in between the team...and the previous writer left. That's why the formula of HIStory was totally gone. But this rumor is not confirmed though.

That's why people started to buy HIStory cards and VIP members to support them but look what we've got now...I'm still so pissed the new team let this shit ending happen.

Don't know yet. But Taiwanese and Chinese fans are now saying no to the production company after that plagiarism thing and awful ending. I don't think there will be one....
People keep complaining the directing and the flow of the story and I agree. But be grateful for once, at least this will have a happy ending! I'm still crying over the other show...
