Any BL show with hot dudes and an ok story can be popular since there always will be new BL fans coming every year. It's a market that is hard to know how big it can be. BL fans with 10 years experience is not the same as those with less than a yea or two.
Just rewatched it after almost 22 years… I still cried like the first time I watched this whenerver First Love came on. I my opinion, no dramas have any responsibility to teach people what kind of love to be acceptable. People felt the love & passion between them and that's why it was a sensation in 1999 and why many still can't forget the show and the theme song. Gosh, I miss the times when Jdramas were all over Asia and with so many controversial themes that many would never dare to make currently. They just showed you there were stories like this and people just sit and watched and the society was still the same.
I mean the CEO's response to having a crush is to buy the man's company, implement a no dating policy, and then…
I don't think any of them wanna follow the rules based on their reactions. They can report to the government department who is in charge of this though but it seems like keeping the job is what they care about at the moment if I judge it from the scenarios.
Hmmm... Taiwanese BL's making tropes? Isn't the start is the same as with 2gether and We Best Love: No.1 For You?Regardless,…
I see nothing in common with these dramas except for enemies to lovers concept. Just a common trope and I don't know exactly what people want from these romance dramas since 80% of the popular romance dramas all have this concept. How they execute this is more important to me.
I just love the quality of Taiwanese BLs. Now they need to rethink their naming strategy - Be Loved in House,…
The official of Beloved In House once said it before. If this show receives good feedbacks, this will become a series that is gonna be released with different stories every year about bl couples that live under the same roof. And "I Do" is the first story. Just like We Best Love & HIStory, they are like the main title of the series but with different stories.
Some people may find the story of I Do seems familiar. That's because it's the adaptation of a popular Taiwanese drama, Just You, which was released in 2013. This is the BL version of it.
I didn't get it at all. The plot didn't make any sense to me. The new director is a complete asshole, and, yes,…
Never saw a bossy and stuck up main lead? It's a common trope in many dramas, mangas, and novels. He is supposed to be hated at the start of the show. Geez.
It's off to a great start, but I had the feeling I was watching an arc from the HIStory anthology. It's exactly…
I don't feel that way, especially HIStory usually butchered the whole look of the actors by giving them ugly hairstyle. That's the biggest difference for me.
