I can't imagine if they really make Shide&ShuYi be the main couple again in season 3. It will be a trainwreck like many other Thai sequels and Amercian or European dramas. There are no good stories to explore I suppose. Hope they explore more of the side couples but I doubt that they will. It seems that all of the fans all want DeYi story again, especially their biggest market, China.
they better not kill anyone!!! That it's nothing, just a cough have me on alert!!! lol
She won't kill any main leads this time. That's why she came up with this over-the-top bl with every trope she can use from many old mangas. I can totally see she wanna prove something here. It's risky for sure.
Why wouldn't he audition? The director has to see if the actor fits the role. Being a famous actor doesn't mean…
Don't you know well-known stars in Taiwan usually don't need to audition for bits, especially BL shows and that's how it works in Taiwan entertainmemt industry. So that's why I was surprised. You explanation just came from a fan's perspective that wants a professional show but in reality it's not usually the case.
Fun fact: Melvin was the first choice for Tang Yi in Trapped. He once said the HIStory team resorted to him but after serious consideration he rejected. I think it might due to all the news and rumors about him being gay at that time. Now he finally takes on a gay role but he said his family in Malaysia couldn't accept he took this role since the country is pretty much conservative. But he told them why he wanna do this and his parents can accept it now.
What surprised me is Sam had to audition for this role…I mean he is kind of well-known in Taiwan for many years…But it also shows he is really professional and earnest to take on different roles.
Unpopular opinion but I don’t really like that intense scene. Shi De was intoxicated forcing himself onto Shu…
He didn't say stop. The translation of WETV sucks, even our past iconic BL subber Adam Uni said the translation has been meh. As a person who can speak mandarin at some level I can reaffirm that.
And it's still trending on Mydramalist. Who would have thought this series would be this huge before season 1 aired? Not many people gave a damn about this show even after the trailers of season 1 dropped. All I can say is any BL Lin Pei Yu touched all have become successful at some level whether you like it or not.
I now declare the person who keeps mentioning Sam being drunk in that scene "Drunk Obsession". I've never seen anyone who loves mentioning drunk that much in my entire life.
How do we know those jerks are from mainland China? Not arguing, I am genuinely curious.
Lol They are just brainwashed like partrotic pawns. These people never question their government; instead, they attack eveyone who doesn't appy to their wish and standard. Xiao Zhan from The Untamed has been ruined by these people just because few of his fans did some stupid things that made a well known website that had so much fan fiction in China got taken down. They didn't question the communist governemnt that took down the website but attack Xiao Zhan because of his fans. These people are pathetic.
LOL 8.0 is not that bad for these reactions. I guess people who will stay for this show will find the charm themselves. I started it with low expectations and I'm glad I did that. They did enhance the quality of the production but the story is aiming for people who can accept trashy comedy. I got through the first 2 eps with some laugh by watching it two times and it's now my guilty pleasure.
With all these negativity, I’m afraid we’re gonna prevent a possible Season 3 from happening, which I really…
The producer only cares about what the mandarin markets think about the show 'cuz that's where the money is from. Don't worry. Mydramalist is not that important.
I think all of the BL writers and actors should go to Mydramalist to know what they can't do and can do for their work or you're gonna be in a hell of justice ride.
I’m shocked that the writer is same :( because this one is so bad compared to MODC
MODC was not that good, either. The progress before they got together were badly written. It feels like Yu Xi Gu suddenly fell in love with Xiang Hao Ting.
Better than I thought it would be. It's supposed to be a comedy and the main lead's dramatic acting is pretty much Japanese style I've known. I'm okay with that since I've watched to many Japanese shows. I thought I would drop this after the first two eps but instead I have interest to know how the story goes next.
MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING
Lin Pei Yu was probably pretty drunk when writing this script...
