This ep is gonna blow up in China based on the trailer reaction and I already saw many saying this is the best HIStory. Yes. I know it's hard to believe for many here but Chinese fans' passion for this HIStory is unstoppable at the moment.

Just wanna mention The World Between Us & The Making Of An Ordinary Woman were the top 2 on Douban's drama rating in 2019 & Someday or One Day was top 1 in 2020. Yes. Taiwanese dramas beat all those popular Chinese dramas with these quality shows. It's really hard to do that since Chinese fans are very picky with the mandarin shows, especially Taiwanese shows. If your memory with Taiwanese shows is still stuck with cliche romance dramas, you definitley should watch what Becky mentioned in the article. They are really different from the TW dramas we knew in the past.

This writer has been notorious for her old Japanese BL manga style stories. I won't be surprised her next HIStory will be another toxic love.

And in the past Chinese fans loved Thai BL more than Taiwanese BL due to political reasons & condescending attitude towards Taiwan. But after WBL & this one, they are now turning their focus on Taiwanese BL more. Even the GMM's big hit Tales of Thousands Stars was not as popular as We Best Love. Usually, GMM's BL was an instant success in China so it's becoming pretty different this year.

Their main focus is on China's market now. It's been trending on Bilibili and Weibo. They LOVE the younger brother.

There is basically no real story between the second couple. They are just being cute for cute's sake. Don't know why people think it's better than the main couple. I think Jack's look affects a lot since the visual usually plays a big role in romance dramas.

The views in Taiwan right now is basically the same as HIStory3. It does bode well for the existence of the next project but the downside is they probably will still use the same writer who wrote these old manga stories.
