True. Just like Cherry Magic & 2gether and many other dramas, the story would be more focusing on the couples' lives after they are together so people would find it basically has no plot. For being the connecting ep for the second season, it's really good.
Now that I think about it: There is an explanation and this would fit Shi De's character perfectly.
His father is filthy rich and powerful so he might threaten ShiDe to leave his son alone. I think ShiDe is also the kind of guy who would think it's better for ShuYi's future if they're apart. And the title of the second season seems to imply ShuYi will be the one who fights for their love and get his dad's permission. I guess ShiDe definitely sacrificed and gave in a lot for the past 5 years.
Amazing! Just love watching two people falling in love like this. We don't need any drama to be in the last ep. That's the job for the second season. LOL

I hope I'm wrong. There are many people still think season 1 will end with a happy ending with 5 years later since those grownup pictures had No. 1 For You tag on.
I'm prepared for the heartbreak in the last ep. They're gonna break up in the last ep and meet up five years later. Somebody on weibo did analyze and have a guess on the story based on the offical news and the pictures of season 2 with them on both sides in suits. The pic did show ShiDe and the doctor's crush are on the one side and ShuYi and the second couple are on the other side. It seems that they work in different companies and they are enemies in business.
