Long rant ahead: I don’t even have the words to put together to describe this episode. Afterwards I actually went to sit outside for a while because I was in tears. Cairo’s story and actions hit so close to home for me. I also struggled with my sexuality and was outed when I was still not ready. Afterwards I ran away and stayed with my friend who knew and accepted me so I stayed with them for a while. Cairo played this role so well, it wasn’t even the big things, but the most subtle actions made this story heartbreaking. When I first realised I was interested in woman the term ‘gay’ or ‘lesbian’ felt so foreign. When I finally confronted my sexual preference I remember getting choked up and it took me a few seconds to even say the word ‘gay’. When Cairo did the same when talking to his mum I had to pause the episode and breath because of how emotional I felt. Being outed by the person you thought was your best friend completely breaks your trust which explains why Cairo is so closed off. Dealing with the burden of such a huge secret weighs you down. I’m so happy that he has his family, Pearl, and of course Gav to talk to. Having friends by your side is the most important thing you can have when you’re struggling with your own identity. I can officially say that Elijah as Cairo is the best actor to have played such a role in order to represent the fear those of the LGBT community still face even to this day. I’m so grateful for this series and I believe this series alone will help so many people in Cairo’s position. This is more than just a simple BL series and I can’t thank The IdeaFirst company enough for creating this.
I can’t wait for GuitarSolo!!! I’m so excited for this series, I need it to be September already. I seriously think this is going to be huge in the BL industry, so please prove me right!! <3
I’m quite curious how they’re going to do this. It looks like they may combine the next book with KlaNo’s novel How To Secretly. I wonder if they may sneak in some of Technic’s novel How To Change as well, I would love to see Tae in this series as he was honestly one of my favourite characters. Apparently Breath is also being adapted into this season so I hope they may include some of the other couples from different novels.
Just because she kissed the girl and she liked, doesn't mean she is bisexual or she likes both woman and man.…
...You know she’s got her own girls love series coming up right? Anyway Pearl is labelled as a bisexual character by the company during the interview where it was announced. Pearls Next Door is literally linked onto this page so you can look for yourself.
There are a few more than Earth and Fluke. Mew is bisexual (said in an interview he was attracted to both genders however he didn’t use the word Bi so that’s just an assumption), Newyear who was in What The Duck: Final Call, and I Am Your King, is openly gay and has a boyfriend called Both on social media. There’s also Porsch who played Dr. Bright in Together With Me is married to his husband Arm. Gun who played Green in 2gether is openly gay, Teng Neung from Gay Ok Bangkok is also openly gay, as is Aof who played Mao in Club Friday 10. There is also Ten who played Simon in Bangkok Love Stories- Innocence. I think there are some others but these are the ones off the top of my head. *edit Also Plustor from Friendzone has a boyfriend, and Bruce from the upcoming series Lovely Writer is gay and has a boyfriend too.
This is everything I would want in a series. Limited drama, consent, communication, a progress of their relationship as time goes on, supportive family, and lots of cute fluff. I really hope the female character won’t get in the way of their relationship and will understand and back away. I’m so happy with this drama!
Next episode looks like it’ll be the best one. This series as a whole isn’t amazing but I hope it’ll be one of those series that starts kind of bad but gets better throughout the drama like My Engineer (although I really don’t think this will be anywhere near that level.)
Let’s pray the screen writer ships Kaownah and Turbo enough to make them the couple because I’m fairly certain Song and Jay weren’t a couple but I may have been mistaken.
OK very unpopular opinion here:I think they gave Kay the wrong role.Kay is a very good actor for a debut artist.…
I disagree, compared to the original he was the only one who gave a completely different interpretation to the same character. Meen and Mind were so similar to the original but I think Gun was the only character that stood out the most because Kay really laid out the foundations for Gun and brought his own character to life. He was probably my favourite actor in this series after Jan in terms of character interpretation.
Why what happen did tul oppose to be part of this series? Im confused
So it’s officially Max and Tul and I’m living for this series. They just posted it on IG so now I can die happily knowing I’ll see them again in MOD!!!!
hahaha....I think Natee is fine. He also helpedBut i am team Gun and mind
I know that he risked his life to help Mind but his character just isn’t really interesting to me. I feel like they could have done so much more with him but he was just dull. That was the main thing I hoped this remake would change is his character, but I got exactly the same vibe from him as I did in the original.
I really don’t like Nat. It’s nothing against him but he’s such a boring character, I even hated him in the original. Gun is much more interesting plus he’s so caring, sweet and although he knew about Meen and Mind almost from the beginning he did nothing but help Mind and be there for her. I literally want to crawl through the screen and shake Mind. Please don’t make the same choice as Eun Bi did!!!!
