I meant as the series which one u like ! heheI haven't seen the chinese version and anime version tho only seen…
The forced kiss.
I can’t remember if he was trying to kiss her in the anime but he definitely pushed her down and breathed down her neck or something when they were isolated. He went for the kiss in the kdrama and cdrama.
In the jdrama, this doesn’t happen at all. He doesn’t even approach her. When he spots Tsukushi and Rui on the rooftop chatting, he takes the disappointment and walks away with it.
Versions I’ve seen: Japanese, Korean, ChineseJapanese is the only one I like so far.If we’re talking about…
The scene I’m referring to that’s absent from the jdrama: ML 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗶𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 on FL against her desire in jealousy, anger and pride. Good thing is that no version romantacises it. When it happens it’s always portrayed exactly as it is - assault. Bad thing is that it’s THERE.
He redeems himself each time yeah (or rather its glossed over and forgiven perhaps off screen but for the sake of argument, we'll say he does). Even so, it's not just about that ...
By removing this reaction of his altogether, Jdrama Tsukasa is literally in part a different character against his other versions. All of them are seperate in an array of ways of course. But this particular difference that's his alone to me is the best. He's meant to be innocent in the navigations of love while more than anything, hoping for it. In the Jdrama, that's played at best. This is one of the ways it does. Attacking Tsukushi never even crosses his mind and why would it? Physical? It's an 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 connection he's seeking. An emotional one he 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀.

If we’re talking about the F4 members themselves than Chinese: It’s the sole one where the love triangle wasn’t annoying thanks to a tiny but meaningful change that was applied to Hua Ze Lei’s character. And Xi Men Yan actually got a storyline I liked following.
But if we’re going by series as a whole (how I answered): Japanese drama and it’s not even a contest. It’s the only version that removes a specific scene from the original manga (I’ll name the scene in a spoiler below this) and it doesn’t hone in on flashing money AS MUCH as the anime and kdrama. These two things quickly make Tsukasa more endearing than his counterparts and that's not even counting the actor's portrayal of him in general. Tsukushi starts as a character willing to stand up for herself with her head held high. And unlike other versions, falling in love doesn’t steal this trait away from her, making her continously fun to follow and route for. And more than anything else, the warm chemistry between these two loveable characters hit me in a way no other version of them could come close to.
He doesn't , every kdrama he has done after the heirs are average and below expectations.. I am not his hater…
The reason his characters all feel the same is because the way he expresses any emotion (eg. being in love) is the same for each of those characters. Emotion alone is not enough. The character behind said emotion is crucial. It’s as if he only thinks about the former when he reads scripts.
Given how content I am just to hear an audio of that confession in Twinkling Watermelon, without visuals and when the song has no official release, all cause it brings me back to this scene .... I should go with that.
Even if I'll forever be impressed with the acting in that Goblin scene. This was hard dangit.
A lot of us like it when a story doesn't focus on physicals. Romance and lust are different things. Some of us just want romantic development.
I haven't seen this series. Yet whether I enjoy it or not when I do, I want to point this out: Not showing sex isn't a 'suffer' on any drama's part. Just a matter of what you're seeking.
Nice way what about the ex bf ge just got shafted and purelt because FL.is a total liar and hypocrite. This was…
She didn't leave him for lying. She left him cause his lies made her believe he'd lost interest in marrying her only a month into their engagement.
I did sympathise with the FL. She lost a a love same as the SML. She felt the pain of it for five years just like she felt the pain of being unable to trust others all her life. Her own flaw, not theirs. But it doesn't take away from her own hurt thanks to it.
In general, the FL lies a lot. She's definitely hypocritical. But she never proclaims to be otherwise. The guys loved her for other traits. Honesty is just what SHE values most in a guy and the ML fulfills that. And though the time was less, she still spent time with the ML to merit care for him.

Trusting ML made sense to me. That was the point. She changed: When the misunderstanding was cleared away, it was one that filled her with regret. But a regret that arrived in the nick of time to prevent her from making the same mistake again. She didn't trust the SML then because she was someone who relied on lies to guide her. She trusted the ML because the gravity of her mistake with the SML taught her how important it was to look beyond a person's lies.
As for loving the ML, that's a a whole other point: The SML held on to his feelings because he had no reason not to. The girl however, spent five years dampening hers thinking they were for a guy who didn't love her back. During the time in which she had this misconception, it was fine if she met someone new and that happened. So when the truth came out, she and the SML were already on different wavelengths.
I get you though. This worked because it's sad. But that's just it. It's SAD. And if you dropped the show for this, fair.
As for the point, I hate love triangles but I'm glad the writers added him to the story. It stressed the FL's flaw and gave this series a learning lesson fitting of it.
The FL made a massive mistake with the SML in the past. Their relationship is one that should have worked out back then. He didn't deserve that and by the time she realised, it was too late because she'd already moved on. It’s MEANT to be sad - the bigger the mistake, the harder it hits a character.
Understanding this one was the trigger that finally moved the FL. From 27 years of relying on her ears alone … to trusting others even if they’re lying.
The most important relationship dynamic in this series is that between uncle and niece.

But ... 'anymore'?
It hasn't even been a year and a half since this aired,
That said, no thing is agreed upon by everyone.
It’s normal that there’s a split of opinion of him among viewers.
That’s how I feel anyway.
Even when they don't start that way, he eventually turns them into so.
I can still enjoy an actor/actress who's a type-cast.
But I'll always acknowledge when they are one.
Even if I'll forever be impressed with the acting in that Goblin scene.
This was hard dangit.
Yeeesh ^^;

PS.
The way I didn't expect it to end the way it did ....... it's the best <3
Moreso given how in love with all of the characters I became.
She went on this whole mission because she thought her Mum ALREADY loved the guy.

Agree to disagree; period.
