I think that is fair. To me this has consistently been a drama that comes across a lot better than it actually…
Love does make the world go round (and love is grand).
Thank you for reminding me to look at the historical context. Pengcheng Wang seemed to be an amazing person. He obviously didn’t suffer fools (Including court intrigue) and from what I read did appear to treat people equally. So, yes, it would be good to see more of this.
So, at 30 eps my thoughts are: • First 12 eps brilliant; • Next 5 eps up and down; • Eps 17 - 22 very good; • Then it became drawn out - lost its focus; • Eps 27 - 30 very good/not too bad.
Our leads are brilliant, the villains have way too much luck and the Shen family deserves better. It seems to be heading from a must watch to an ordinary one. Perhaps, I am being too hard.
Week 12 was a cracking week. Despite all the revelations, the writers handled them well - better than you see in the more “refined” dramas. We saw some very good performances from the arch enemies, a reflective KSJ and other secrets. This show does deserve a good rating.
Things I’m thankful for: Min Ho at last toned it down a bit, the Principal eating pizza and OPJ not going ballistic :)
Overall, not a bad drama. The main leads acted their socks off. However, many of the storylines seemed underdone to me and some of the key characters faded away. The ending needed 30 seconds more :)
Here we are at the end of episode 6 (11/12): we have gone from an unusual start (which I quite liked) to what is now a true gem and highlight for the year :)
Scriptwriters deceived us, and I like it. They made it look Like Se Ra is just your typical stupid female lead…
Writer Nim is on the money - I think they have a wonderful relationship. I also agree the flashbacks are used well for once in showing such a friendship.
Overall, it is not a bad movie. A lot of effort went into the making of Bleeding Steel. The leads, in fact, do really well. It does lack that special something though. A better script would have turned Bleeding Steel from just okay to simply awesome.
Yes, I agree. She also “stitches” him up beautifully in episodes 25 and 26. The acting is first rate and I…
No, she doesn’t as she takes her friends advice. not to raise it with him. When Old Li finds out she knows he gets angry because he thinks she is after his money and does everything he can to divorce her - except Ke Ke is way smarter and she really loves him :)
