Overall, a good watch. Some parts are more engaging than others. Our leads make a great couple and the focus throughout this drama on correct procedures, sorting out relationships and taking responsibility for a situation are very strong. There are even health tips at the end of each episode.
Finally caught up to the end of ep 8. This was a particularly good episode. Show overall is dealing really well with some extremely tough topics. As for Teddy - what a great character. He’s probably my favourite. I think it’s a pity it will only be 12 episodes :)
I liked the first ep. This looks fun and interesting.. I look forward to their hijinks and finding out the truth…
I enjoyed the episode very much and the level of NXC’s professionalism needs to be admired. She does have a WWWSK vibe and the show even has a Devilish Joy vibe about it too.
My thoughts on the matter of invading another person’s space is: how else do you portray such behaviour in a show? I certainly didn’t take the view that the show supports such a move, if that’s what the critics are saying - I think it’s showing how much YJZ is full of himself at the moment, and that this is not acceptable. NXC is handling him extremely well, and I think she won’t let him get away with such behaviour in future :)
So, there we have it. Overall, Good Casting is a good action romp with a delightful and dynamic undercover trio of ladies with really good sidekicks and colourful baddies (even if the main reveal was underwhelming) and a some nice romantic touches.
At the end of the day, Justice Bao is very watchable. I liked the initial camaraderie and cases, but not the intrigue surrounding the emperor in the later episodes. Nancy Wu was a standout, and yes, there is a cliffhanger! See Elisange’s comments below :)
Yes, it is. There is a bit of everything in this show. The three ladies are fabulous as a team, their side stories and romantic interludes are nicely done, there are some very funny moments and the mystery/thriller arcs are good (although the main reveal was perhaps a bit of a let down) :)
Eps 11 and 12 are the best so far! Fake Princess is one of those rare shows that can go from being humorous, then serious and back to funny again - with a touch of romance chucked in here and there :)
Light hearted and cute as others have said that also pokes fun at itself. Some of the fighting scenes are hilarious and there are good running gags throughout such as Baba the Duck.
Our main pair are great together and TLY as a character is a delight, especially when she gives TTY such a hard time. Baby Zhang also shines in a show that, in some ways, is just simple, but old fashioned entertainment :)
I really enjoyed week six. All the different relationships are unfolding nicely and the story is much more interesting. Some of my favourite moments involve the “evil mum and son duo.” Their interaction is priceless. They seem to really enjoy playing those moments.
I’m still waiting for Min Ho to play it down a bit more. As for KSJ, let’s hope he kicks his antagonistic feelings sooner rather than later. We need to see more of the nice and determined guy. OPJ’s drunk scene telling her kids how it is was handled in a nice way.
This show deserves way more than its current rating :)
One of the things I really enjoy about this show (apart from the story) is the attention to detail. So, during ep 7, we saw some of the more intricate workings of the royal court and its formalities instead of let’s just have a chat about things. Even in the streets it’s not all pristine like you see in many dramas :)
Meaning please??? Do you mean she does not disappoint or that she does, she is new to me.
Aviis is a fabulous actress and does not disappoint. Her performance in Iron Ladies was very good. She is very adept at playing different types of roles and not all of them are listed here on MDL
