In term of attention paid to the historical setting, this show is head and shoulders above Minglan. In many respects…
Yes, quite a bit about Andean cultures re the Nazca, Incan cultures and certainly about the importance of the Yellow River Valley from a Chinese perspective.
At the end of ep 8 and I must say Doctor Detective is continuing to grow on me. It takes a little bit of getting used to how the story is pulled together each episode and then there is the quirky epilogue re the UDC at the end of each hour :)
Completed the halfway point! Up until episode 6, I found 60 Days very well done. However, eps 7 & 8 were not up to par for me. There are certainly very good moments throughout e.g. President Park’s interactions with Opposition Leader Yun - I want too see more of that (because they are two very fine actors) and less of some of the other things (I find the twists a little frustrating, but I also felt that way with the original version too). It’s also time to let President Park loose on the media.
A lot of strong hints being dropped that Do Chi Kwang was the one who murdered Young Koon's mother. Probably just…
Yes, I think it is to much of a big red herring for it to be him. I think this is where the Show is well written with good pacing and the acting by all the leads is so expressive to back this up - They are so desperate to find the killer. You can almost read their minds.
As for Do Chi Kwang’s motives, I’m not sure he was trying to cover things up specifically. He may have been doing things for other reasons. Either that, or we see him now trying to atone for past misdeeds. Interesting!
Well paced so far with a good balance including characters you like and those you want to see get their just desserts. Will those with the brains win out over those with the street smarts? A classic series of encounters!
Pretty fun watch ! Some of the corporate jokes were bang on ! Sung Joon is also putting out a very stiff upper…
I think it’s great so far! Both leads are doing a terrific job and I like how ADT does go away and thinks about things despite his initial reaction - the art of compromise
Sadly, it’s a drop for me after the first two episodes. Our heroine is good and I like her brother’s character. The book reading scenes are very good as are GHR’s marriage lessons. However, I found some of the other scenes and the way Prince Yi Rim is written as a character quite underwhelming. I think it has potential, but it’s not for me :)
This drama is criminally underrated ! Such a wonderful drama ! The story is simple, beautiful, moving, realistic,…
I did drop Shoe after ep 2, but then I watched ep 6 and went wow. It became a beautiful story for me from that point on. So, I’m glad I came back to it.
