She actually kills a bear in the novel! I know they had to skip a few things but her raw brawn and bravado doesnt come across to its fullest extent in the drama. Even then, I think TXW is doing an excellent job potraying the butcher girl.

I get that. They also show the bank manager get suspicious in the third bank she visits which makes the most sense. But the first two, she only comes out with an envelope of money. I mean she just withdrew $4 million USD worth of money in 1990s by lining up in the general withdrawal line like a normie. Also how do you fit $4 mil in an envelope? (They show them with a large pile of money in the preview though, but she only had that day to withdraw the funds!) How do you withdraw that without raising suspicion as a normie? And mind you she withdrew that amount as a commoner, not a corporate employee. Not to mention the IMF crisis just happened. When it actually happened in the 'real world' even big business had issues with withdrawing money let alone such big amounts at a time. Liquidity at the time was supertight and banks were under much stress.
And I only mention this since so far all the financial stuff they have shown is more or less plausible and some of the information is very close to accurate. This one yanked me out of the story
How is she making almost $4-6 million withdrawals in cash when the situation is so bad? I remember when 2008 happened, folks were struggling to get any money out.
Listen y'all, this drama had better character development than many big productions we've seen. THis really surprised me. But god the story was all over the place!
