I did show one friend some dramas (she had previously watched some of BOF and the drama of Koizora) but I think after 2 dramas she was done :/

I know what you mean. I felt it too but I think this is one of the reasons that women always go back to their cheating husbands or abusers. We felt for that sincerity so why wouldnt they.

I find Kim Go Eun to be extremely attractive and a very good actress but everybody has their opinions. I don't think her looks and acting are the problem with the chemistry of the show. It's a fact that some people just don't have chemistry. I honestly believe that people realized they had zero chemistry but thought "It's Lee Min Ho, people won't care" :/

Sorry, but I had to jump in because whenever I hear about that drama I just cant contain myself.

For the majority of the drama I loved it! However I was actually fooled into believing Wang Shik and Oh Sunny getting together would be a big part of the show. All of the drama descriptions contained it, the feels, the way they met... everything made me believe they were end game or at least had mutual feelings for each other. What I did not expect was for the drama to turn into a proper car crash. Oh Sunny seemed like she had some back done but the moment you realize she never stopped loving the emperor I was done! I couldn't believe my eyes and I wanted to drop the drama then and there but the drama was practically over any way so I persevered.

A part of me thinks that the writer intended for Wang Shik and Oh Sunny to fall in love because I honestly believe it was heading that way (Anybody remember the time she received the red scarf and how she reacted?? That was a moment but apparently it wasn't) but everybody got swept up on how cute the Emperor was with his feelings and I think the popularity got the best of the writer and she jumped ships which is why I started finding the romance in the show very off.

The way they ended Wang Shik's part in the drama will never be forgotten. He was very crucial to the story. Heck, he was more important than the Emperor in my eyes. He was the leading man!!! and yet they discarded him like a supporting role. Oh Sunny's reaction to his death??? Was he an acquaintance? Not at all. He helped her through everything. She wouldn't be where she is today if Wang Shik hadn't helped her.

I'm done. Seriously when that drama appeared on my Netflix I wanted to throw up.

I'm not sure what I think of this drama. A part of me is like "Beautiful soundtrack, production is clearly outstanding and dont get me started on the supporting cast". The other part of me is like "I'm currently detecting 0% chemistry for the leads to the point I'm almost shipping her with her partner and that rarely ever happens as I'm a lead couple supporter type of girl. Woo Do Hwan as expected is stealing the show from Lee Min Ho. I'm sorry LMH die hard fans but when he's acting beside him his mediocre acting shines through. He's literally getting outshined by somebody who hasnt been in the acting industry as long."....

Conclusion
If this doesn't pick up next week im dropping and I literally called it when I knew they had 0% chemistry!!! The leads having zilch chemistry in a rom com..... not good.

Tbh I can't even say that but we all have different tastes when it comes to looks lol

Anybody watching on Netflix?
Im trying to but the quality is very off putting. On the first day it aired I had problems as the quality was very bad and could probably pass off as 480p. The quality is a little bit better and my infor button says its running at 1080p but it honestly looks like its running at 720p. I cant stand low quality shows so its really bugging me.

Tell me about it! I love this drama for the family and friendship and I actually liked her with Ganghwa. I'm not sure if I'm alone with this feeling but around the start I actually thought they would end up together :/ It was one of the many driving forces making me watch this every weekend. However recently I feel like hes completely over Yuri and loves his wife and Yuri is going to be the middle man in their relationship. The more I learn about Ganghwa and Min Jung the more I want to turn away as I just dont see it with them and the beginning of the drama did that. I haven't seen episode 11 yet because I just cant bare more Ganghwa loves Min Jung.

Typical. Netflix tells me that this is available and yet the connection/quality is terrible. It's the only show that's having this problem. Looks like I'll have to wait to watch episode 1.

Judging by Asian Wiki it appears that Lee Soo Hyuk is the lover of the FL... not sure how I feel about that. Sorry but that actor just bothers me (acting, voice and face)

Guen Soo is such an idiot. I never liked him and I think the no1 reason was because I knew he would slither to his dads company because of loooooove xD Does he honestly expect Yi Seo to drop her feelings for one guy to him who has literally been friend zoned since day 1 because he has a company? What does that tell you? What must he think of Yi Seo to think she would actually do that. I know she said it but c'mon he must have known she wasnt being serious.

Wow! You're so quick to judge on their drama tastes. You automatically think that because this person doesn't like this show that they must have terrible taste in dramas. Everybody is different and they shouldn't be judged for that. For your information I love this show but I also really liked the ones you mentioned minus Arthadal Chronicles. You shouldn't judge people like this -_-

Watching episode 12 now and I would like to rant about the detective. How can he tell Sang-mi that she can freely speak when they're surrounded by the crazies... ??

Just finished episode 5 and wow! What an emotional episode. However I'm very peeved at the police. I understand about the male police officer as he seems the type to believe in all this crap, accept briberies etc.. he shouldn't even be a police officer but the female officer, I expected more from her.

Shes seems on the fence of everything but she literally did nothing. If I was in her shoes, I would pull her to one side and have her side of the story and get an expert's opinion. I would keep her under police protection until everything has been clarified. When somebody acts the way that young lady did you just cant take some bodies elses word for it!!!!!! I mean the whole satan crap etc. The second her father did that I would get her away from them. She seems clear headed enough to not believe in the cult.

Already outstanding!! The first 2 episodes blew me away. They weren't action packed but the way it was directed caught my eye and the first 2 episodes left me feeling all warm and fuzzy.

Continue. The first bit can be slow but it's such a lovely, warm drama. Halfway through you start to see the ML's point of view and it was such a breath of fresh air the way it's directed etc. Give the first 2 episodes a chance.
