The ML is an anti-routine character and the story does not in the normal order like most other dramas. If you can patiently continue to watch the drama, everything will be gradually explained.

Just would like to share some of my thoughts about Angelababy in response to negative comments about her. Before watching this drama, I didn’t know much about Angelababy. I watched this drama mainly because of Ma Tian Yu. After finishing this drama, I has become her fan. She is not only beautiful but her acting is also good. I really enjoyed watching this drama thanks to her and Ma Tian Yu. Both of them made an outstanding couple in this drama with great chemistry that is hard to forget! 🩷🩷

Everyone has different perspective and interest. The drama that you don’t like may be the favorite of other people and vice versa. There’re many popular dramas with high rating out there but they are not my cup of tea nor worth my time to watch. So please respect each other!

I have not ever watched a c-drama in the republican era but if Gong Jun does it, I will give it a try.

Yes, he looks cool in the outfits of republican era! However, I personally like fantasy genre so I still would like to see Gong Jun in more Wuxia/Xianxia dramas.

OMG, just find out that this is a live action from anime Saiunkoku Monogatari which is one of my most favorites ❤️
I wished that China would produce a drama from this anime long time ago. I also wished Li Yi Tong was the FL and Gong Jun was the ML. Although only half of my dream comes true, I’m satisfied enough with the cast choices. 🙂 Can’t wait to watch this drama soon!
