is the original novel a bl? because the vibes in this movie are sooo good :3 Mark chao's little smile solidified…
No, the original is not BL and I doubt this movie is BL too, it's more like Bromance. I think the movie focusing more on Bromance more than the original because the director (also screenwriter) is gay and he likes this kind of story. Yes, they were supposed to have another sequel that will tell more stories about Qingming and Boya which they filmed it around the same time.
I don't think this movie is BL at all. Plus, I think it just the director (Guo Jingming) preference? He really…
Yes, I think Guo Jingming is impressive to manage persuade Deng Lun to go shirtless lol. Deng Lun and Wang Duo, both go shirtless in this movie. Mark Chao said in the bts video, the director even asked him to go shirtless but Mark Chao said, his character seems okay to go even without being shirtless 😂 idk why but the director seems to have that kind of fetish about shirtless guys 😂😂 I saw some shirtless pictures of the male leads in his previous movies, I laughed a lot 😂
It was a really good movie! One of the most beautiful fantasy cinematographies I've seen, so enchanting and epic
Heard the reason why the story between Boya and Qingming seems like 'unfinished' because they were supposed to have sequel and in that sequel, they'll tell more about their story.
Okay, but this is just legit bromance, I see people labeling this as BL , but I think it is up to one's own interpretation…
I don't think this movie is BL at all. Plus, I think it just the director (Guo Jingming) preference? He really loves to make this kind of story. What surprised me the most, even in his past movies, all the male leads in his movies are shirtless 😂😂 and this movie, yin yang master is not an exception!
I really hope we'll get to see the sequel of this movie next year 😭😭😭 Deng Lun accepted this movie because of the sequel's story so I'm really looking forward to it
This is one of those dramas hits different ;_; Im rewtching it again after a while and i still love it maybe even…
The male lead (Deng Lun) wrote in his final letter for this drama. He said this story, 'Hao Zeyu' is 90% of what he has been through as an actor. He basically took this role because of the story remind him of himself.
"big scandal" the scandal is bullshit ....like every " big scandal" in these asian countries
Big scandal here = she broke the country's law + abandoned her children and her husband. Caught in tax evasion. Her weibo account and studio got suspended. Her career in the entertainment industry basically over.
In terms of using real voice (either for dubbing or live-radio/lavalier mic [body mic]), Deng Lun is probably one of the actor especially for his generation that use his own voice for most of his projects (including when he was just supporting roles/young) and his lines (accent when he spoke) is also one of the best that's recognised by the industry and a lot audience. In his career, only 4 out of 25 roles he played only use other people's voice (voice actor). In 2019 for his drama Blossom In Heart, when one of his backlog drama (filmed in early 2017) finally got aired (prolly due to his current popularity). During the filming of the drama, there's some technical problem that prevent the casts to use onsite microphone. He personally told the production team that he will dubbing himself for his role in the show. That's why from the trailer of the drama, it can be heard that the dubbing for his character sounds different than the dubbing in actual drama.
Hope the next season can focus more on solving problems instead of scaring the MCs
There's actually a lot of debate about this. But since this is a star version, they're focusing more on 'scaring the members'. A lot of people who are looking for solving problems part watching the master's version. Since everyone is looking for different reasons watching this show, some enjoyed the comedy, some enjoyed the problem solving.
From Mango TV's event that was held recently, there will be the next season for this show but there's no news/rumours about the casts. Hopefully we can see the same casts again.
Any predictions when it'll come out ?I hope first half of 2022. I really can't wait .I'm not into republican era…
Q3 2022 (from iQIYI's event last month). Hopefully we'll get to see it sooner. Yes, the theme of this drama is quite novel and the time-travel part is more like a wormhole space-time.
No.. 699 is actually the apartment that both of the protagonists lived in. The male lead is the one of the early resident of that unit apartment (the apartment was built in 1930s). While the female lead is the resident of that 699 unit apartment during the modern era. In this apartment is where both protagonists meet each other every night at 10pm (where the male lead comes to the modern era) and he will return to his era at 6am in the morning.
I don't agree with u anymore.yang zi s acting is good.but Cheng yi did phenomenal job in this drama.his acting…
It's your opinion and I can have my own opinion too. I'm saying this based on the impact that I see not just from international views but from Chinese views. Ashes of Love made the three leads in the drama became famous, yes including Yang Zi. (Although Yang Zi was already famous but her popularity after Ashes of Love also brought her to a new level). The word 'phoenix' was in top 10 famous terms in Chinese site in 2018 and I didn't say CY is not a good actor. His acting and Liu Xueyi really carried the drama imo. Even until now, the discussions between Team Xufeng and Team Runyu still in heat discussions on Douban (you can search it yourself).
Fun Fact: the apartment is real and exist in real life. It has its own history https://www.shine.cn/news/in-focus/2109074660/
