Can someone pls tell me where can I watch this with or without eng sub and also if one of the two brothers will…
Apparently there's no full version for this drama so far. From the clip I saw, the youngest brother (Deng Lun) died. His acting is good in this drama, it's like he's acting with a dual role, innocent boy in the early series and turn to a japanese villain in the middle to late of the series.
Another drama to look forward. I'm so tired of idol drama lol.
A little bit irony. Yang Zi and Jing Boran in the same drama and currently Denglun also filming drama with Ni Ni. I really like Ni Ni and Jing Boran pairing and Denglun and Yang Zi pairing before.
I heard this drama already get banned by the govt. It seems like it will be hard to see the light. Even from the perspective of the actor that will take this project, they must consider it so many times.
Ermm. I've watched both of the drama so many times. In terms of plot, Love and Redemption is better and got more interesting part but in terms of chemistry and acting skills, AoL is better (from this article, I can sense that OP is L&R biased, which is nothing wrong with it).
Yang Zi as Jinmi really did a good job, throughout the drama you clearly can see she went from cheerful clueless young lady to someone who has experienced a lot of hardship and become wise, her vocal tone also changed throughout this process. Same goes with Deng Lun. After he got stabbed by Jinmi and become a demon king, his vocal tone changed. He started talking with almost whispering voice. Personally, I really like their acting more than Cheng Yi and Yuan Bingyan. Cheng Yi did his job very well as Sufeng but YBY as Xuanji, she's quite lacking (if you compared it with Yang Zi)=YZ's interpretation of clueless/emotionless girl is better than YBY. Deng Lun as phoenix, his character here went from an arrogant prince to someone who cried like a baby (not in negative way) when he lost Jinmi. His acting especially for the scene where he got stabbed by Jinmi, from the eyes, movements, micro-expressions, lines and sounds are all in place. AoL also made Deng Lun famous as 'Phoenix' character, I see no one after him who can play the role of Phoenix as good as him, not just his acting but also his appearance. He has a perfect danfeng eyes (google it). This make his character more memorable. Chengyi's acting as Sifeng is good, very emotional and he knows how to show the audience how miserable his character was but I can't help to think, the more I'm watching his miserable phase (throughout the series) I kinda feel that he's too exaggerated it (nothing wrong about it, some may like it, but some people think it's not natural).
Yang Zi and Deng Lun, maybe the reason why I feel like they have more chemistry and natural than CY & YBY, maybe due to their previous work together and they're close friends in real life too, that's why I feel more comfortable and natural with their chemistry and acting on screen.
About the OSTS? Ashes of Love osts are still playing on chinese television until now, even yesterday I saw a performance with AoL ost on national TV live, CCTV. On Tiktok, the performance of Sa Dingding gained a lot of views after she performed the song last year. Deng Lun and Yang Zi even sing their own ost for this drama. I believe if their songs don't have any impact, people won't even use this song to perform but again everyone has their own opinion and preference but based on what I see, a lot of people like AoL more than L&R.
Watching this drama since I saw a lot of people were talking about it. First of all, I'm not that familiar with the casts but I've heard the female lead name before. Idk if she's a good actress or not since this is the first drama from her that I've seen but based on what I see here, she's quite stiff and her chemistry with the male lead, I can sense some awkwardness from them. In terms of acting and character, I really think the second male lead really did better job and honestly even after finishing the drama, I still remember his character more than the other casts and the second male lead looks more natural (didn't feel any awkwardness) with the first female lead. Overall the drama is ok.
The show has ended. Personally, I enjoyed watching this show despite I did skip some part of it. I hope this show can bring something like from season 1 for the next season! I hope we can see the same casts for next season and maybe add one more female member? I think it will be more interesting. I hope we get to see Denglun in the next season too 🥺 he made me laugh a lot in this show.
I feel the same way about Yang Mi. I used to love her until I started watching her in Great Escape and now she…
Isn't Yang Mi always been that kind of person? Idk that much about her drama but I did read a lot articles about her and also from this show, I can see that she's a straightforward person. Some of her words are quite harsh but honestly that's a variety show for you. No matter how many people dislike her, you can't deny that she's a mascot for this show. She has a lot of followers, top actress in China and whenever something happens, based on what I see, her names (and Denglun) always got called out in articles (either positive post or not) and indirectly promoting this show.
Yes, they filmed this film back to back. It took them 8 months to finish recording part 1 and part 2.
It's bc the director in the film was involved in plagiarism scandal for his previous work. That's why Chinese boycotting Onmyoji 1 before and the film got pulled out from cinema after 10 days. We're lucky if we get to see part 2 in this year tbh. I heard part 2 currently in review for airing, which means we're a step forward to see the movie soon.
Hmmm, he graduated from acting school, no wonder why he’s really good at actings and have perfect facial expressions.
Honestly, it's not just depend on acting school. It just he has talent for it. There were a lot of actors who graduated from acting school but their performance in drama is just mediocre
Why? I am hoping they would pair up in a modern drama
Never confirmed but there were a lot of evidence that they were in relationship. Even fans know about it. Drama Royal Feast, was supposed to be Xukai with Bailu but Bailu rejected the role. Therefore, the role was given to Wu Jinyan.
I wonder why she's not in a lot of drama as much as other actress? She's good in acting especially for tough/strong role like Qu Manting tho. Although I lowkey dislike her character in Dance of the Sky Empire, but she really did a good job there especially for emotional scenes.
