But when they started promote the drama in a show before (I saw a clip from 11 months ago on youtube), I saw her with zhou dongyu and Xukai together. That's when I knew her character gonna be a significant in the drama 😂 I think when the drama started airing, if I'm not mistaken, we also can see her name under 'main role' here on mdl but I think they change it back to supporting role.
I think Jenny Zhang should be put under main character role for this drama lol. At some point I feel like this drama is centred around her evil character. I hate wuhuan with passion esp her expression but that's when you know the actress did very well in playing her role. I really hope we can see more of her acting (maybe as a nice character too) in other projects.
I haven't watched the ending yet but what I'm going to say about this drama, they really have good supporting actors/actresses (no need to mention xukai and zhou dongyu since we already know their worth as the mains). But I think it such a shame that Yuemi's character appears only until episode 14 when I thought she would gonna be with them till the end. I thought maybe she would be reincarnated or something. Nevertheless, this drama is probably my fave xianxia drama of the year (2021).
P/s: I need Zhang Yaqin and Leon Zhang in another drama as the main leads please 😢 they kinda look good together.

No... For your information, they changed a lot of plot in this drama (13 if I'm not mistaken) because the male lead refused to have romance or skinship with the female lead due to personal reason. So they have to get rid a lot of romance that were supposed to happen. If you've been following this drama since their early times, you'll know that the actor is problematic. It just the fans especially the female lead fans were being silent about it since it can caused more damage to this drama.

I saw the preview of ep 46, we get to see Yuemi but it turned out to be wuhuan's evil plot to kill Tianqi. Idk what happened to him but in the episode, he was stabbed by Wuhuan but I'm pretty sure he won't die. I really hope we get to see Yuemi's reincarnation or something by the end of the series.
The drama deserves higher ratings than 8.3. The drama somehow is kinda dark for a 'healing' drama (at least as of episode 4) but it makes the viewers looking forward for the behind stories and the real murder. The script for the male lead who is a psychiatrist, really good, relatable and warming. I also liked that the writer didn't push for the romance and let it happen naturally.

Episode 41, definitely a heartbreaking episode. Prepare your tissues if you watch this episode. Baijue is getting married with Jingzhao. In front of other immortals, Houchi asked for a divorce from Baijue and he granted it. Gujun sacrificing himself to save Houchi and her baby. Houchi finally getting the power of chaos back. There's a MAJOR event in this episode (if you're that kind of viewer who loves to lurking on YouTube or twitter then you'll know what Houchi did to Baijue after she got her power back 😉
Episode 42, Houchi finally gave birth to a son but since she's already got the power of chaos back, it's time for the awakening of Shanggu. There's a sad moment when she said goodbye to her son 😢 the son grew up to a very entertaining boy 😂 she got his mom and Qingmu's personality lol (he's definitely one of the most looking forward character). Shanggu finally awakes (rip Houchi). But she doesn't have any memory about what happened for the past thousands years. She has no memories of Houchi either. She didn't even know about having a son (so her call her aunty and she called herself as aunty to her son).
I don't understand the context in episode 43 and 44 very well without translation but it's quite a good episode. Shanggu spent more time together with Yuanqi, her son. They even went to meet (or stalking) Baijue while he's taking bath lol.

Can't wait for Thursday to come through! If you're looking for tragic love drama (typical in xianxia drama), this is it. The drama definitely not in my top 3 xianxia drama, but it definitely well made and high budget lol. The FL's character is funny and witty too
