Hear me out! I prefer storylines that aren’t too angsty, which is pretty evident in my ranking. The 4th couple is so good, and I think we can all agree on that. Mr. Shen is the biggest green flag among all the brothers-in-law.
I ranked the 5th couple higher than the 3rd because their story is both funny and romantic at the same time. Plus, I love Yang Xiang’s masochist, bully-but-softy persona. The 3rd couple is interesting, full of wits and scheming against each other—they really are a perfect match! But I always find myself screaming during their angst scenes, like, why won’t they just talk? The miscommunication really kills it for me, which is why the 1st sister’s storyline is ranked second to last.
The 2nd sister’s storyline is hilarious, but I feel like Mr. Fan carries most of their scenes. As for the brother’s storyline, it’s good, but it feels rushed, and their screentime is too short, which is why I placed it last.

Yes you can! Actually in the novel if I remember it correctly, GQM would be such a hateful character but here she is not and FLS doesn't have that much depth for a character unlike here and he doesn't have any ship but was shipped to A Bao for last chapters and it makes me idk feel icky? Glad that they changed the storyline of these two
Sun Zhen Ni is the best new face in the industry! Her acting is absolutely incredible. These types of characters suit her so well (like her flirty character in TTEOTM). I hope she gets more roles like this because they truly highlight her talent. That said, I also wish for her to continue growing and evolving into an even greater actress!
I hated Qiumin in the novel, but here I am loving her in every episode! Of course, the fact that she’s portrayed by one of my favorite actresses, Zhang Ya Qin, makes it even better. Please make the episodes come out faster! The last time I was this hooked on a C-drama was Reset.

In the book version (though some additions may have been made), the ML tries to help the FL regain her memories. However, the FL’s heart is tied to Sangqi, preventing her from remembering him. Yeahhh I agree with you. SQ is both likeable and dislikeable character which is so refreshing to see for an anti-hero or villain that we mostly see on other dramas. (Because I just straight up hate those villains but SQ made me soft for him 😭)

If we base it on the book, the two names for the three characters are actually tied to their past lives, which haven’t been fully revealed yet as of episodes 1 to 14. Perhaps their backstory will be introduced in the final arc.

I highly recommend this drama because it has an excellent plot with unexpected twists—some are predictable, but others will genuinely surprise you. It also offers thought-provoking insights into what should truly be considered good or evil.
The FL is the best-written character in the story, along with all the villains, as well as the ML and SML. The development of the SFL’s arc is refreshing to see. In the book, I never paid much attention to her, but I think you’ll end up loving her too.
