I think celebrity kind of have a crush on him, he wants him because he cant have him. Thats why she is attracted…
They're all childish in some way. The ML always runs away, the FL can't ask for help, the producer can't admit he has a crush on FL,... Honestly, the celebrity seems like the least childish of them all. That, and she actually told the ML she had a rough time, which is exactly what he wanted the FL to do, and didn't.
I know there is absolutely no chance of it happening, but I'm hoping the ML ends up with the celebrity. I just don't like the ML & FL as a couple. Not because the FL dumped the ML, but because they don't seem to fit (5 breakups should've been a clue), while the celebrity seems perfect for him, and he for her (which is all the more reason it's never gonna happen).
Very different & way darker than the two mentioned
And it's not limited to TONT. It's actually one of my major gripes with most, if not all, Kdramas. The characters never seem to take anything seriously; -Monsters are real and hunting people? Just another day. -Lead(s) being framed for murder? No biggie, just go with the flow. -Someone wanting to murder (one of) the leads? No worries, just carry on as usual. ...
I don't think there's a Kdrama I've seen where I haven't wanted to smack the leads and scream to them "look around, you know that something weird is going on, act freaking appropriately!".
Very different & way darker than the two mentioned
It was just weird was my point. The plot was something out of an almost supernatural horror, but the characters behaved like they were in The Big Bang Theory.
I'm currently on episode 3, and I still don't get why the whole twin thing is a thing. I thought the twin who stole the ML's soul is the one who died. Why then is he after the other one? Isn't the soul supposed to be what the ML and the monsters want? Then what does appearance have to do with it?
Very different & way darker than the two mentioned
To be fair, Tale of the Nine-Tailed was forced into not being dark for some weird reason. If you strip away the comedy layer and the go-with-the-flow characters, that show is extremely dark plot-wise.
"...our lead are not timid, stupid..."The ML considering revealing his identity so he can draw a building, as…
Don't even get me started on the love-related idiocy of the lead couple. The ML not telling the FL how he felt about her, her not straight up asking him about it, the ML still pining for the FL after 5 years, neither of them moving on in 5 years,... and that's just the first two episodes.
I know very well why she broke up with him, I and GYS are similar person. Everyone may not understand, but for…
"...our lead are not timid, stupid..."
The ML considering revealing his identity so he can draw a building, as if there's some imaginary law or something preventing him from doing so in private, like he did with all his other drawings, is pretty stupid.
I was dreading watching the amnesia episodes but I caught up just now and.... wow. I'm sorry but the only characters…
Yeah, this whole amnesia bit is just so...meh.
I differ somewhat on the characters though (I only care about the FL (though her naivete is making me dislike her more and more), her dad (easily the best character, a man beaten and broken by the world and virtually everyone in his family, yet he still tries), the kids (specifically oldest and youngest), ML's sister (I mostly feel sorry for her having such a psychotic family), FL's aunt, and FL's cousins (the inseki couple)). Everyone else can go die in a ditch for all I care.
As for stupidity, as I mentioned before, the fact that the FL (and literally everyone else, for that matter) immediately believed that the ML was cheating with her rather than the known liars and schemers... lying and scheming, is just infuriating.
I need justice for Ms. Yang and Mr. Lee, this show did them dirty.
To be honest, aside from the law firm's CEO, all the other side characters are either way over the top or just too bland. And since I've seen some of their actors act very well in other shows, I can only ascribe this to the writing/directing. Even the leads have some really awkward (not in a good way) scenes.
i think ive never liked both female lead an male lead this much
You Are My Spring. The leads there are even more adorable than here. Not to mention that the side characters there are the best I've seen so far in Kdramas.
I don't like the female lead all that much yet, she seems way too materialistic, to the point that it appears to be her only personality trait. I love the zombie/virus theme, especially because the show doesn't go from 0 to 200 in the intro. The build-up and pacing so far seems appropriate. The male lead somehow feels subtly sappy, but otherwise OK. Could do without him wearing a baseball uniform during the first case though, that felt weird. I hate the female lead's co-worker not being checked out despite being involved in the altercation with the infected.
I didn't like the first season that much in order to bear to watch another two. No ... thanks!
Same. The show failed in virtually every aspect other than the cast. I'd much rather see a second season of Goblin, it was better in every way, especially the bromance.
I told myself the deity helped him because it made no sense. Also, you should put your comment on a spoiler tag.
That was my take on it. She basically created an identity for him, which, with her being a goddess, wouldn't pose any issue.
As for it not making any sense, I have to say I disagree, as it was quite obvious that with how she altered people's memories and kept the male lead's phone running, that she would handle things for him to join society as a human. If anything, it'd make less sense if she just dropped him back on Earth with nothing and everyone remembering him looking differently.
For me the worst part of this drama was the second lead couple/love triangle. They're boring, problematic, didn't…
For me, the issue with the second lead love triangle was that it was obviously not a triangle. One of the participants felt way too much like filler, like he was there solely to get in the way and complicate things.

I don't know whether this is true or not, but if it is, it would explain a lot.
