I hope part 3 doesn't end with the leads fighting each other, but we all know it will.
I think it's gonna end in a fight between them 100%, and I even think I know the reason (or at least the straw that will break the proverbial camel's back); the 1st lead needs her mother's bone marrow or something like that to cure herself, and the writers will probably make it so that obtaining it will somehow kill the mother, which the 2nd lead will be against, and it'll turn into a fight. Or, the 2nd lead will also turn out to be sick and there'll only be enough cure for one of them.
Sadly, I just don't see a way where, in a superhuman-fight focused trilogy, the two most-powerful superhumans don't fight each other in the finale. At least not in any Western film. It'd be like putting King Kong and Godzilla in a film together and not have them fight each other...
the "irish"'s acting is one of the best among foreigners in kdramas u cant deny
In that case, I'm fairly certain he's either South African or Kiwi. I got heavy District 9 flashbacks the second he started talking, and South African and Kiwi accents sound quite similar to my ears.
No turning points, no twists. But it's okay just okay. It could be a intro for part III.I already knew that it's…
My biggest gripe about it is the Girl. She's a blank. Maybe a dozen sentences throughout the film, and virtually expressionless. Says a lot about the film when the most enjoyable character for me was the non-Korean actor. Maybe because he was literally the only character not going for the dark and gruff type.

Irish? I was under the impression his accent was South African, or maybe from New Zealand. And yeah, compared to other white actors in Korean films/TV, he's brilliant.
Umm, anyone know who the South African-sounding white guy was? Kinda weird that goons that were in the film for maybe a minute are credited but he isn't.
MiRae’s mom and HyunJae’ dad are not related in blood, right? Then why they keep telling MiRae and HyunJae…
It feels like a poor attempt by the writers at foreshadowing the major hurdle in their relationship, the quasi-incest. It's become fairly obvious that, barring that plot point, the middle couple are more or less done with every other obstacle (his family likes her, her family likes, or has no reason to not like, him), and would be at the same stage as the eldest couple, namely planning a wedding, which would be weird for the show, timing-wise, to have two couples do the same thing at the same time.
Though i guess we know what the big issues are going to be for the 3 couples (I assume); the youngest will be the scam, the middle will be the quasi-incest, and the eldest will be marriage.

Can't speak for her other work (nothing seems to fit my very picky tastes), but I think she's great in this. Also, no idea how realistic her portrayal of an autistic person is, as I've yet to interact with an one in real life AFAIK, but it sure is very convincing and believable.
Look…if you did not already adore Park Eun Bin from Ghost Detective, Hot Stove League or The King’s Affection…
If the SK award scene is anything like the US one, then her character is basically an award magnet. An insanely charming lead with a disability who overcomes adversity to lead a full life... that just screams awards.
Since the title of the show is Anna, I thought that Suzy's character will be a badass con artist like Anna Delvey
I thought it was a Korean TV adaptation of the 2019 film, Anna, about a KGB assassin using being a model as a cover (with a North/South Korea twist, rather than the film's KGB/CIA). Most people probably never heard of it, because Luc Besson got accused of sexual harassment while filming it, so the film got ghosted with no one wanting to touch it. It's a shame, because, while the film wasn't anything special, its invisibility and baggage all but killed Sasha Luss' acting career before it even got a chance to get started.
It is one rare time I see such a clueless lead couple. They are cute together but they have no idea what is happening.…
Not legally, but morally.
The mother and daughter didn't have phones to call the police with. As for escaping, you can't really argue that one isn't imprisoned unless one tries to escape, can you? And, grew up pretty well? She knows nothing of the world other than from children's and some science books. She is more naïve than an 8-year-old. The fact that she got out, and then came back willingly, shows just how fucked up she is.
I think the escape came at a price for the mother, so there's no reason to assume they didn't escape earlier because they didn't want to, rather than they couldn't. After all, the mother didn't manage to escape.
The big bad chairman is particulary annoying because he ordered to kill and lock people but they also want to…
SML as well. If you find out someone has held people prisoner for decades, and aren't on the phone with police in seconds, there's something seriously wrong with you. The SML knew for 2 years, and his only "solution" has been that he'll let them out... eventually. And even after the FL escaped, he's been trying to lure her back into the cage...

I see him as irredeemable. Not as irredeemable as his father, but still, irredeemable. The SML knew about the mother and daughter being held captive for over 2 years, and did nothing. He also suspected (knew) his father had his friend and his mother killed, and again, did nothing. As I said, not as irredeemable as his father, who actually committed the crimes, but still, irredeemable.

He could, if he were a "good" person.
