Does anyone know a website where all the subs are okay? Watching on Viki is so painful.
How so? I was under the impression that, generally, Viki has great English subtitles, even better than original ones (though that's admittedly not saying much when it comes to Chinese shows, as they tend to be edited machine translations at best).
That headbutt scene told me everything I needed to know about the show, and it wasn't anything positive.
Sadly, it's always been this bad, it just took a while to boil over and get fed up with it; the stupid aura thing in "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?" (2018), the diarrhoea scene in "I'm Not A Robot" (2017), the domestic violence in "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" (2017),..., as well as most supporting cast.

It's not just this show, it's all non-gritty/serious Korean shows, to the point that it feels like Korean shows are either serious or slapstick, there is no in-between.
The exact same thing happened with the ML's previous show, The Divorce Insurance, where there was a completely out-of-place running gag about farting.
It's like their writers don't know light comedy exists, they only know awkward/embarrassing slapstick.
Is there a precise (preferably down to the minute, rather than just which hour+ long episode) list of cameos from the Hospital Playlist cast anywhere? I'm only interested in seeing their scenes, as the spinoff's focus on a younger cast isn't really my cup of tea.
Same here. Would love some more fluffy, slice-of-life shows with no antagonists or angst.
Came across that title before, but the description turned me off, as it came off as somewhat fetish-y (the whole BO thing and the ML having a good nose), which combined with the Sexual Content tag made me decide not to watch it.
Well, it's overcrowded, and I didn't like it. I mean this was the trope and the first part was the subversion.…
"I was much more invested in Jo Hyun and her weirdo partner. I can tell a lot about their characters and i felt so bad when they died."
*hint* Watch the post-credits scene. *hint*
And yeah, they were my favourite part of the film as well. Not so much the woman as the man though, she felt way too forced-badass (randomly drinks hard liquor for no reason other than the rule of cool, denigrates her partner, again, for no reason,...), especially in contrast with his quirky, laidback personality.
Yes. It has a planned release in 2025 if all goes well.Continuation from part 2 with "the girl" as main character.
Thanks for the update.
Honestly, it sounds kind of lame, and makes me think it'll be to Part 2 what Part 2 was to Part 1 quality-wise, if that. It'll be the second film (and TV show) in the franchise without the protagonist from the first one, the "her struggles with her powers and a looming dark prophecy" line just screams angst (which is the last thing a franchise like this needs), and on top of it all, it sounds like it'll be yet another filler with no plot continuation.
I just re-watched this show, and while I really like it, the plot is just atrocious, with two major plot holes that make it impossible to suspend disbelief and utterly ruin the plot; first, that a woman wouldn't even show a photo of her serious boyfriend to her best friend, much less introduce them, and second, that people would actually care that someone has a really good memory, much less view it negatively.
While there's arguably too much focus on their jobs and the second couple is really bad (both the characters and…
-It's not good or bad, just different. I don't know how else to describe it. The show feels slower-paced and less visually in-your-dace than your regular pop-y romcom. -Yes, I am sure. I'm also sure he'll grow on you as you watch more episodes. -"Genre " has, over the years, become a sort of catch-all word for theme, tag,..., basically everything that might happen in a certain work. And in this show, sadly, the leads' work takes up so much screen time that it deserves the tag.
I read somewhere that it's basically a show for Chinese yuppies, and it definitely feels that way.
Can anyone give me a reason to watch this? Because i put this on hold after 2nd episode a few months ago
While there's arguably too much focus on their jobs and the second couple is really bad (both the characters and their relationship), the chemistry between the leads is off the charts, which in my opinion, makes the show worth a watch. And, and this is from a straight guy, the ML is charming as fuck.
Plus, it has a different feel to other romance shows, more jazz than pop, if you know what I mean.
Her quitting the job or permanently moving to her hometown wasn’t clearly mentioned—it’s left up to the…
My cynical interpretation of the ending was that the lead couple was going the long-distance route for at least the two years mentioned earlier, if not longer (or even permanently), and that the medical tourism bit was just a way for the FL to occasionally visit the ML while there on business (she's co-running a sales company after all, there's no rational reason for her to move to the area of one of the company's clients).
Shame she's only ever paired up with male counterparts who have the emotional range of a brick wall, though.
