This drama highlight trauma, mental illness, abuse, love, family, politics great combination. The leads def did a great job they chemistry together was everything their stories apart were deep and moving. Bai lu proved again what a great actress she is playing a character dealing with trauma and mental illness and fighting scenes chefs kiss. Cheng lei he has grown as actor i felt his emotions through the screen. Him and bai lu they played a great married couple so well made it seem real. If they do a drama together again im def watching.I did feel bad for the second male lead too him losing family and being locked up and bad influences took him down the wrong path his ending did break my heart. As villian empress im glad she got her karma that she killed alot innocent people but still thought she was great ruler a true narcissist. My only issue didnt see emough lin mu ran in this drama glad his character made it to the end though i def recommend this drama id def plan on rewatching it soon again.

Heart warminng

Worth the wait this drama was everything i actually disagree with negative comments i thought story kept on pace the story about love, greed, friendship, loss it just kept getting better and better every episode the love story between hong ye and xia yao was so beautiful the ending had me kinda confused but i get she went back time to be with him since he died in present time so happy/sad ending the fact that their love last 10,000 years 3 lifetimes so good drama had me tears and laughing. The leads def had so much chemistry i hope they do another drama together with a better happy ending. The music was chefs kiss great that both leads had song in the drama. I def recommend this drama and def rewatch.

Disappointment romantic drama

This drama should change its title to sword and friendship or family but not beloved. There is no romance at all between the leads their never even in scenes together that much towards the end. They focused more the 2 and third couples romantic relationship. The actoring was great from the whole cast though. If you watched love in the pavilion yes i would say its interesting sequel to see the main leads kid as adult. Other than that sad ending 😔. But if your into to romance dramas like me dont watch it again there is no romance with the leads. I only recommend watch love in pavilion than watch this one. But what a waste ill i never watch this again 😔

Tian xi wei wow such a strong female lead her actions scenes were so intense i kept rewinding back to watch. But her and zhang ling he chemistry is everything . Storyline just was chefs kiss the fact that he doubted that her father was guilty and always had her back . This the prefect and one the best contact marriages i have seen. Glad they got their happy ending. I also enjoyed the alternate ending too.This drama even had feel sympathy for the villians. Snow kong and deng kai even though their characters relationship was toxic theres def chemistry i would to see them in a drama again. I def recommend this drama there is no boring episode in my opinion

Good storyline

It was great storyline speaking about greed what humans will do to live forever even it means becoming a villan. Always do the right thing in the end. . Great casting. Romance level huge disappointment. Im fan of ren jia lun but he needs to stop doing romantic dramas since it seems like his last few romantic dramas he doesn't wanna do kissing scenes because he wants to respect his wife . Hes a great actor he can do other dramas with out romance. Even second couple was disappoinment. I honestly dont like how they xin mei strong from the start kind made her weaker through the drama. I hope wang he run gets more lead action and romantic dramas shes great actress . The leads did have some chemistry. Ending made no sense. I did like the strong female characters. But this drama was great to watch once but ill probably wont watch it again. But definitely recommend watching aleast once though

Good storyline.

Turns out there six couples since the son of li family is alive and well had sweet storyline. was cute. I liked all the couples story expect the 5th sister marrige i get its just drama their just acting the actress is 17 a minor having her being romantic with 27 grown man its inappropriate and uncomfortable to watch which is why skipped certain episodes. If anyone feels the same way I do wants skip that couple the 5th couple story starts at episode 29 the last two episodes you dont see them as much together can especially fast forward thejr . In my opinin they should casted a ml the same age as 5th fl would been cute. I have to say the 4th couple storyline is my fav i love haode her strong personality and bravery and strength never backed down. Would watch this drama again maybe.

Great all around storyline

Just finished today omg who ever casted these two leads together def deserves some praise they fit love when its strong fl and strong ml the characters felt like a strong mature relationship and parentship standing together as one and their chemistry was everything. As for the second fl her story was strong dealing with abusive marriage and so full of hatred misses out on someone who actually loves her and losing her child it broke my heart i was glad in the end she put her focus on helping her people and the country . Lin qin i love seeing her as warrior in dramas. Even there is alot darkness besides light in this drama i def watch it again and recommend to check out.

Def rewatch drama

Loved the storyline that it was both dark and comedic at the same time. Love a good strong female lead. The father and daughter scenes had me laughing. Loved how supportive her father was in choices. And the ml im fan of his dramas. The two leads had such good chemistry my favorite thing of relationship was their acceptance of each others good and sides. Loved all the beautiful colors of the costumes. Im glad the couple had a happy ending that she stayed and instead going back to the real world like most other dramas with similar stories end. Im already watching this drama for third time its how much i liked it.

Should been a shorter drama

Thae only good thing i can say was the leads had good chemistry the storyline was good however this drama did not need to be 36 episodes should be 24 it took to long for them to be together which made it annoying the AI sml character made no sense you can tell it was AI he didnt look real words didnt match the lip movement. I would like to see tan jian ci and wang chu do a another drama together hopefully with better storyline. I did like the other two couples too. Would i recommend this drama nope only if your ok with the slowest burn romance i ever seen next to the dazzling.
