Thoughts of her are breaking his concentration with the additional layer of all the times he tried to go back, overwriting the happy memory, are what's keeping him from controlling his power the way he wants. Plus he's rusty, assuming the power loss was around a year after the car accident.

And let's not forget, the horrifically chosen "comedic" toned music as she sneakily put these things in FL food.
-Cooper Ho, we can skip her lines because she literally just shows up to coo over the ML and offers to be "by his side" and wants to. be the one he calls when "he's having a tough time" followed by a near immediate scene of helicoptering into FL space and gaslighting vomits how unappreciative and not understanding of the ML, the FL is, with a crocodile smile and congratulating herself on her composure.
-Office Chick Boss (plural) you got one that played tough love and promising to only be petty the minute 2ML tossed a kind word in FL's way. Dropped her, isolated her and had her removed in the coldest and non-constructive way.
Then you got the newer one, forget showing up with a whole child 6 years after making but pulling obvious office power plays, to be continued, and basically doing another version of Cooper Ho.
All the other office woman reduced to gossipers Making FL mom the least problematic
Obviously the writers care more for the men's side, with even the friend-boss having a bit more dimension than those with more lines. but that doesn't excuse the ML lead being trash. how do you not stand up to the woman who poisons your wife and child, well-intentioned or not? How do you not alert a pregnant woman that's currently allowing the constant gaslighting to cook and thinking she did something wrong? How do you accept what an outsider says over hearing out the person you've known nearly 20 years? He's only with the FL because it's convenient, just like living with mom, just like working for a friend, just like allowing things to happen to him to only react and just like breaking up by gesture. He's a man-baby without, no, beyond excuses.
The 2ML actor is typecasted-AF. I already know we're going to get 1-2 smoldering kisses from him and he's going to exit left gracefully because he likes playing adults.....just the same one, nearly every single drama.

I'm not saying dramas that don't totally suck can't be enjoyable. But, the overall message with woman undermining and being horrible towards each other, specifically career-minded women and only gaining (brief) societal approval for getting knocked up , is terrible. FL has no friends, and is completely alone. But, the writers don't seem to be deep enough to follow that as the root of her problem and rely on 2008 tropes to get us through an episode.
I would rate this a solid 6.5 because the acting, non-overpowering music, and the color grading. But, they should've abandoned all seriousness episodes ago and committed fully into being an over the top drama, instead.
Dropped because of problematic poisoning episode including the aftermath, like I can't. It's nearly the same level of yuck as poking holes in condoms and playing clown music to it.
it's a drama that has an advantage, right now, because all the better dramas finished airing recently. otherwise it's "meh" I'd pass and watch Regeneration or one of the mini dramas instead until joy. of life 2 comes out.

Watch the Korean version, the ml says he will eventually give up chasing her and does...lol. The rest is somewhat comparable, more humor and realistic behavior, with the 'model" being a golf pro "model" instead, being the weakest storyline.

The Zaddy actor usually sleeps with someone in his dramas....lol, must be written in his contract. And I see they still love directing him in the same kiss sequence....
This one soured me on any drama Joo Won put out since....lol, when i was already giving Kim Hee Sun the side eye. Ever since she went whining about how awful it was to kiss Lee Min Ho , the drama gods snatched back all the good scripts. Nearly all her projects have not gone a step above mediocre, except for Angry Mom, but she has enough power to surround herself with admirable cast members.
From the time we met her, she didn't really hide her interest.
She has money. She can afford to hire an architect to do plans for a building and also build it....for, what was the money making business she wanted to open...checks notes...a flower shop. A lot of logistics involved with those super perishable items. At least she's not 'a gallery owner'...lol the usual mistress job

Ever since she went whining about how awful it was to kiss Lee Min Ho , the drama gods snatched back all the good scripts. Nearly all her projects have not gone a step above mediocre, except for Angry Mom, but she has enough power to surround herself with admirable cast members.
