People complaining about the circus that happened in the court need to understand that they were collectively showing their disdain for the corrupt officials running the justice system, especially the presiding judge who was clearly a Babel and Wusang puppet.
there something off about the comedy in ep 6 in the court scene but i'm hooked so i can't wait for the next episode!
They're literally disrespecting the court because they knew the presiding judge himself has no respect for the law and justice system in the first place.
Will the real "John" please stand up? ; )https://www.soompi.com/article/1457023wpp/astros-cha-eun-woo-in-talks-along-with-seo-ye-ji-and-kim-nam-gil-for-upcoming-ocn-drama
He's not doing John though? CEW is taking on another character
I will give this a try but the premise already seems unoriginal
I think they played up the clichés just for the heck of it. It's all just too in-your-face to the point of satirical. And the cross-overs with Extraordinary You casts were just hysterical
I have question to people over 20 years old... isn't the drama too childish?
I'm 44 and I watch it with my daughter. It's bonding time for us and I get to catch up on what kids these days are into. Strip away the genre and superficial trappings, I found many good life lessons in this drama that can be learned from. I love the core values the drama portrays, like family, friendship, self-acceptance, loyalty... and more.
I really recommend "My Id is Gangnam Beauty". Also, the actor Cha Eunwoo who plays Suho, also plays the main lead…
I love that show. Kyung Seok (Cha Eun Woo) was a true boyfriend material in that drama. And the message is very powerful too, that the way to get others to accept you is by accepting and loving yourself first. Changing our appearances for the sake of others don't always give you happiness in the end.
Bruh What's with the comments about Eun Woo People are ganging up on him now?! Listen, he might have taken characters…
I took acting lessons back in school for my drama club. Not many people realize a lot of a person's facial expression is defined further by the movement of their eyebrows and forehead areas. These are the areas that can significantly help a budding actor/actress display emotions better. You can try it in the mirror and see what I mean, making expressions with the eyebrows/forehead covered and uncovered. The way they style CEWs hair covers a lot of the forehead and eyebrows areas, and he has such lusciouly thick eyebrows that are such a disservice to have been covered by hair. HIY looks especially emotive in his role as his hair exposes the eyebrows and forehead. But then these are just a matter of details.
I think CEW, while not nailing some moments quite right, has A LOT of potential to become a better actor. I have found myself moved by his delivery of the script many times at the most crucial moments. And I especially adore his jealous boyfriend expressions. Seen those in two dramas now. Three if including Rookie Historian, with occasional moments of jealousy.
Honestly, I don't have high enough hopes for the writer's to pull off any twists at this point
Well, we might just actually find out that Imoogi is really the gatekeeper' son who dies by suicide. Thre had been a LOT of references to the dead son throughout the drama for it to be just a side plot.
WHy must Lee Dong Wook pick tragic stories like this?? ughhh
He does angst so well though. His ability to demonstrate every kind of emotions with his facial expressions is exactly why he needs and excels in dramas like this.
My first K-Drama was My Girl (yeah I am that old) I remember being so enamored with young Lee Dong-wook. And Lee Joon-gi was such a baby! Awesome soundtrack too. And then I moved on to Jewel in the Palace (Dae Jand Geum) and that pretty much sealed my love for Korean Historical Drama/Fiction (sageuk)
What I love about Korean dramas is always the message of good moral values and humility. And also the fact that they are so well-immersed in their traditional culture and values that they serve to enhance the modern Korean society instead of holding them back. And I also feel more comfortable watching a Korean drama with the kids playing in the same room. Not too keen on the kids being prematurely introduced to current Hollywood culture, forgive me for saying.
I dropped my ratings because there is not an ounce of passion, understanding or foundation for a relationship…
I know right? And I love the satire aspect of it all, having a dig at the human society while delivering great values and messages to kids who watched it.

Oh, I loved Zootopia; I'd recommend watching it to anyone. And quit trash-talking Flash, jebal. He's adorable! I really cracked up at his reaction to Nick's camel joke
