Title Abyss Spoiler
At least the writing isn't Game of Thrones season 8 bad I guess
Not unless they turn PBY's character into a genocidical psychopath in the penultimate episode due to unfathomable reasons

every time someone says Park Gi Man I think of Pokémon xDIs there any meaning for the different colour changes…
I read somewhere someone mentioning how the colors seem to change according to the colors sequence of the rainbow, starting with yellow. Well at least so far. Could be a coincidence though

For a second, I thought there would be a season two, what with the open ending they were hinting at near the end.…
Them prosecutor robes made me fall in love with all things Law in K-Dramas. Lee Junho, Lee Jong-suk, Ji Chang-wook, Jo Seung-ho have all been worthy in donning them. At least in the looks department, ngeee

I wish they had simplified the title though. It's quite a mouthful to mention in passing or in conversations. Maybe "Dan in Love" or something catchy. Like "black" or "Signal" or "Chicago Typewriter". Must the title describe the show literally?

However, now she has a "common" appearance so hopefully she'll get a bit humbled...
I think that's the point. It was said that they take on the appearance of their "souls" which I interpret to mean that their new appearance will externalize the inner beauty or lack of, after their resurrection.

I loved every single episode, every single character, every single scene. Everything. I laughed with them, smiled…
Jan Ki Yong is simply made for this kind of character. He communicates with his eyes so very well.

Can you please tell me if it has a happy ending or a sad one?Asking because of the tragedy tag! :D
In a way, I couldn't see any other outcome for our beloved anti-hero. At least he went out on his own terms

Title Kill It Spoiler
Hello I ended up skipping a few episodes. Would anyone be kind enough to tell me if it was ever revealed why he…
Genetic modifications. He was conceived through artificial insemnation and "bred" for his organs to be "harvested" later when the need comes, just like crop. That was the reason of existense for the children of the "orphanage"

Our anti-hero escaped that fate and came back to ultimately save those surviving children.

dropped after episode 30 lol... kinda long and too much wait time between episodes to really worry about the story.
Exactly! The way the story ws written could not maintain the sustained interest of the viewers. I remember watching the drama Black as it aired and the anticipation and suspense while waiting for the next episodes almost killed me. To bad they just HAD to give us that cop-out ending, but the journey before that had been amazing. It was the same with Six Flying Dragons, the standards by which I measure every other sageuks/historical dramas ever since.

I was definitely a minority in being disappointed by "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim". I thought the acting was,…
Dropped WWWSK too, a few episodes before the end. The mystery that had kept the drama going concluded too early and we were left with a few redundant final episodes. I felt a lack of motivation to see the drama through to the end. I hope it will be different with Her Private Life. As far as rom-coms go, it does have a unique premise where obsession of all kinds becomes the unifying theme.

There's hating, and there's bad drama... This is a bad drama
@palak, there is a huge difference between hating and criticizing. I find that many people confuse between that.

I love many of the actors featured in this drama (with the exception of the female lead, I really don't find her acting commendable at all) but even by the social standards of the '90s I found that much of the plot and development were illogical. A lot of the featured "morals" of the story were also questionable. Geum Jan Di's character borders on masochism, while Gu Jun Pyo's abusive behavior in real life isn't so easily treatable, as it usually stemmed from deep-rooted psychological and emotional pre-conditioning --whether they lived in the 90s or 2020s. And I think it's unfair to blame "time" or an era on the quality of production. There had been many beautiful classics that would still hold up to today's social standards.

The success enjoyed by BOF had largely ridden on Le Min-ho's charismatic acting, in all honesty. The rest of the F4 had been merely decorative functionally, although a little less so with Kim Hyun Jung's character.

Sorry, but these are just my thoughts. If my criticsm still sounds like another "hating" comment to you, well, there you go.

Title Wok of Love
I gave this drama points for the wealth of culinary information and tips that I've learned from watching the show. From how to care for your wok right down to how to best prepare your ginger. I love also the chemistry between the main leads and I especially took so much pleasure in seeing how a disparate group of people came and banded together to make their restaurant work. I saw that many commenters here feel that Jang Hyuk's character was somewhat shortchanged as the main lead. He wasn't. His character was the actual glue that kept the plot together and progressing. He had been the impetus for change to the people around him and the people extended beyond them. He had awesome chemistry with the other leads, especially with Junho. And Junho, wow, I find it hard to believe that he had no professional culinary experience prior to doing the show. Just proves how dedicated he is in getting the job done, even if it means learning a new, difficult craft. His chef portrayal was just that believable.

I'm not too miffed about the supposedly inconsistent or unrefined plot progression as my enjoyment from watching lighthearted dramas like this come from the feelings and emotions incited within me. For want of logic or plot-centered drama, I'll simply watch something investigative, sci-fi or historical, no big deal. And when I came to know that some plot points were abandoned due to actors leaving the show early and airing conflicts with the World Cup forcing them to terminate the show 1 episode short, I think that they managed to conclude the drama well enough, honestly.

Anyway, watch this if you just want to have a light watch. Or if you want to have some good laugh. Warm, fuzzy romance aplenty, if you ship the OTP the drama producers went with.
I'm glad I watched this, even though rom-com is not my go-to genre.

No other girls yell better than Lee Sung Kyung. She's born for tough girl roles, despite having decidedly female facial features.

This drama made me see you don't need to get the girl to steal the show. I would rather see Poong with Sae Woo,…
I know right? We need to move away from the trope where the male lead gets the girl all the time. Emotionally, I think Poong and Sae Woo would be able to to click together better. But that's not saying that Chil Seong's role is any less important for the show. I thought that he was the glue that kept everything together, from the plot progression and the character development of all the people around him. I'm happy that his presence had help many people find their way, or had lead to a deserved comeuppance for the antagonists.

I’ve been watching kdramas for the past 10 years and I honestly prefer the newer ones compared to the ones in…
I couldn't watch it in its entirety either. Skipped a BUNCH of scenes. Although LMH was quite charismatic at times, I couldn't actually like his character. And I couldn't stand the female lead's acting at all, grated excruciatingly on my nerves, she had.

Naaaaaaaah won't be sitting through a drama that have a gem and does not give it its worth leaving Jang Hyuk unappreciated…
He's not a conventional main lead, but he's the glue that ties the drama together. In other words, he is essential and central to the plot development.

I agree. It seems like she still can't put weight on her leg, which translates into cropped and mostly inactive…
One small victory always seems to be compounded by yet another setback from yet another malicious maneuvering. I wish they would allow the viewers some breathers with lighter moments, basking in the aftermath of one hard-fought achievement or another. When the intensity doesn't stop episode after episode it gets kinda monotonous.

I don't watch GOT but based on the pictures and the feeling the actors give off, I think you've done great job…
With Tyrion, eloquence and elegance in speech is one of his stronger points besides being highly intelligent. And we know how Ryu Deok Hwan can definitely pull that off from what we've seen him in God's Quiz as well as playing the elegant King in Faith
