People in general do not come in complete blacks or whites. Our personalities are rendered in shades. A person can be prodigious in his profession but a complete noob in the matters of the heart. A person can be seen as shrewd in his drive to fulfill his ambitions but harbors great love for animals. These are shades, that are perceived differently depending on the light and angle from which we view a person from. That's why I too, loved watching LIFE. Loved both President Gu and Dr Ye, for all the shades they represent.

The person behind the visual direction of this series is a bona fide genius! Love, love the artful cinematography.

Title Where Stars Land Spoiler
For a show that was supposed to be about acceptance, the ending certainly cancelled the point out. It would have been a better culmination of character growth if Lee Je Hoon's character was shown to have returned having shorn off his dependence on the miracle device. Perhaps make it as though his pilgrimage to the US was to complete some form of advanced physiotherapy and self discovery. His return, although no longer in wheelchair, but still dependant on more conventional walking aids would have made more sense, in my opinion.

This is so insane! I am loosing my interest on everything about this series! The villains are over-villainous…
Have you not seen Empress Ki or Six Flying Dragons? Treacherous monarchs in sageuk is nothing new. They actually give life to Lord Acton's quote, "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Nothing scared me quite as much as watching that little girl succumb to demonic possession after fighting it off bravely for so long. And she lost because she thought she wasn't loved anymore.

If it hadn't been for Choi Daniel and some pretty good supporting cast, I think the series would have fizzled out long before it ended. The premise had so much potential but it got lost with too much aimless running around and returning to square one each time Sunwoo Hye got into one mischief or another. However it does seem like the final episode could be a setup for a potential sequel; though they really need to amp up on the story line and tighten the concept to turn it into a successful continuation.

What I do love most about the drama though, is the visuals they offer. Gorgeous shooting sets, especially the detective agency giving out a film noir vibe whenever there is a scene there. The cinematography is also well done, with some pretty creative color filters to set the moods. And the OSTs offers quite a lot of listening pleasure too, especially the main theme and Joy's collaboration with Mark "Dream Me"

Sometimes, I guess people CAN appreciate a drama series other than for the plot line. And because the show had done so well in other areas, I don't necessarily think watching this drama was a waste of time after all. I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a unique concept. I just wish the execution was done better.

I know what you're saying. I'm just referring to the low rating CT had suffered locally. Some people were panning the drama but didn't quite see the other aesthetic elements of it.

am I the only one still enjoying this one? while I'd agree that last two episodes were mostly flashbacks, build-up,…
I'm still here. Even if not for the plot, I still adore at the visual aesthetics offered by the series. Creative camera angles, gorgeous visuals, stellar casting, memorable moments... these aspects could be just as important as a faultless plotline for some people. I felt the same way about Chicago Typewriter. I'll be seeing this one to the end, too.

I wanted him to stay dead instead of actually being alive. That was the thrilling part for me and kind of wanted…
We still have no idea what's going to happen should Da Il regain consciousness though. They could still throw surprises. Been doing that quite consistently throughout the show.

Still not entirely sure about this drama but Nam Ji Hyun and D.O.’s chemistry is darling!! Sticking with it…
The cliffhangers from this show are getting increasingly merciless. To end Episode 7 like that was a shot through the heart. Pun intended.

I've been wondering if I should watch Cheo Young. Is it good?
Thanks! Perhaps I'll enlist it in my PTW dramas. I do enjoy the supernatural genre

The scariest part about the ghost-villain now is that she doesn't need reasons any bigger than for a change of clothes to murder someone. There is almost no way to predict her next moves, not at least from where we stand here now at Episodes 13-14

Choi Jin Hyuk oozed with a kind of dark charisma as a supernatural being. Even just by standing still with a brooding expression. Dang someone give him a vampire or grim reaper role, please.

"The K2: Je Ha x Yoo Jin 4 lyfe"
Okay, I really had to laugh at that one. Such a missed opportunity! Would have simplified the convoluted storyline, and yet present us with that much more conflict.

And then there's Blood. Unconvincing leads, both male and female. The ML wasn't charismatic enough, and I've never liked the FL in anything. Too screechy for my delicate ears.

Yup, Healer was also one of my favorites and had the right combination of everything a drama should have. I have no problems taking the elevator though.

Loved the article. More please?
