I haven’t gotten around to watching the original Cherry Magic yet, so I’m confused why people don’t like…
It's the original cast of the Japanese show that gave some memorable performances that makes the show top tier. The emotional and innocence essence of the show is unmatched and the characters of Kurosawa and Adachi played by Kieta and Eiji were done just perfectly.
Many did not like the idea of this version is first because, nobody expected a thai adaption and second cause it's none other than by Gmmtv who's infamous for not producing a good bl series till the end and third because TayNew are casted in it, some might feel they were miscast and could've had better actors perform it.
they said they already shot a teaser but there was a problem with license so they can't release it yet

The miscast smh makes me think, EARTHMIX would've suited the best for the roles of Kurosawa and Adachi out of the Gmmtv BL stars. But, I'm still glad TayNew ended up with the roles. Have been waiting for them for so long! I also hope this doesn't disappoint

The moment New appeared on stage, thought there would be some performance or something but then he started saying about Magic and the magical ✨TOUCH✨ with other person and TAY FREAKING APPEARED. When they got closer and he got touched by New and Tay's inner voice was heard BRO WTF. THIS WAS IT. THE FUCKING POSTER CHANGED TO CHERRY MAGIC 🍒 DAMN BRO. THIS WAS INSANE. INSANE INSANE. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. THEY LEGIT INTRODUCED THEIR OWN SHOW.

Gmmtv new generation is finally opening up. The teens omggg everybody looks so fresh. I'm honestly not expecting much but wanna try this to know how the future gmmtv stars look on the screen for the first time.
For the BL part, trailer was slightly underwhelming and very very generic, as @Randominded said, absolutely gives Love Sick vibes with somehow even similar plots. Anyway, it's romcom, so why not give it a try. Hope it doesn't disappoint. Gmmtv BLs this year have been very disappointing, wishing good luck!
Honestly saying, no. It's a teen show with lots of cringe stuff and all, I mean it's just another generic Japanese mini series. The only attractive factor here are the leads, they look good together. story wise very confusing and acting can be slow for you. But I'm curious to know how the story will end, so staying here for that. If you wanna watch this to pass time, I'd say it's a decent one.
