As far as I recall, I don't think it was any illness which led to Sou stop hearing. He just gradually stopped hearing.
Ending, however, was too sweet! I can't wait for ep 7 either!!

And if I remember you correctly, you also had something related to F4 in your username before.? Were they referring to that?🤭😅
Good to see that this show is getting all the attention it deserves!
And many more other things as well (sweaters, earphones)
I feel so happy to see how peacefully Tsumugi tries to resolve her problems or I would say, talk out her concerns to the other person. First with Minato and now with Nana. The way she kindly expresses her feelings, it speaks a lot. Even with Sou, she is very patient and careful. He is someone very dear to her and she makes sure to not hurt him in any ways. They really both compliment each other with their calm personality.
Nana and Sou in the library was the highlight, tbh. Sou found a very relying friend by his side and even without speaking, they tend to speak a lot. Nana was desperate, no doubt, but I'm glad she tried to be honest with her thoughts. And didn't put Sou in dilemma either.
About the mom, I'm afraid. I feel like she's the person who still doesn't want to accept Sou's reality and I kind of agreed with Mako.
Nana and the sign language teacher, they def know each other. The cliffhanger they left us with! Oh geez, can't wait to see their part of the story.
Waiting patiently to watch the next episode! 12 more days T_T. Hehe
