I had to drop this after 10 episodes. The dubbing is weird some of the voices don't suit the actors.
The ML is so stiff that is painful to watch and the FL, although a little better, still not good enough.
I found the pacing of the story slow too.

I found odd that despite the fact they it was implied that YL sa'ed her daily in the past life, she was less on guard around him than XW.
The saddest part was YFY's death. I wanted her to be happy with LX. Who I have to say was my favourite character.

Also, we got to see her sister with her husband and children but what about the other girl he married? That wasn't explained.

I have to say that this was a really entertaining drama. There was not a boring moment and the was always something going on that kept me on the edge of my seat.

Despite that, I didn't like the main characters and I only rooted for them because I wanted the bad guys to lose.
There was tension between the leads but I didn't care much for their romance. I don't know if it was the ML red flags or the lukewarm romance of the FL. Her liking ZZ didn't make much sense either.

This is my second time watching ZHL and while got acting was better here, at times it was almost caricature-ish that felt funny. I don't know if they made him look a little weird on purpose and I also found strange the way he spoke. A little unnatural.

BL felt bland. I don't know why but despite the fact that her character came back and she must have known things, she looked childish at times.

Yan Lin was the only main character that showed growth.

I started this drama expecting it to be more light-hearted and it was a surprise when it was full of palace schemes and machinations.
I think this was what made it interesting and didn't make me lose interest until the end. There was always something going on to keep me hooked.
I found really odd that , despite the fact that none of the characters were actually likeable and that the romance wasn't that believable, it was actually a very interesting drama to watch.
I felt more of a bestie chemistry between the leads than great romance.
It was my first time watching ZLH and I thought he was a little stiff but great looking.

I finally finished it.
I have already written some of my thoughts about this drama but I would like to add some more.
It took me some time to get hooked to the story, after episode 25 to be exact but then it got interesting.
I really liked that we had a feminine FL that was clever and brave without having to show masculine traits like it's often the case.
But the problem was that she was one dimensional that she almost fell flat.
Bai Jing Ting's character would be almost the same but he has an arc of maturing and coming to age and he has more charisma as an actor than most of the actors of this drama.
As a couple they were too perfect, even from a young age and with little experience and it was a little weird to see.
I also didn't care for the romance much. I have already said that despite having dating rumours in real life, I felt very little chemistry between them. Which I found odd because BJT always has great chemistry with his costars. Maybe they toned it down because there were real life romance.
But the production was nice, the battle scents were well made and the second half had enough machinations and politics to keep me interested.
I don't regret watching it and i think I was even a little sad when it was over but it's not a drama that I wil rewatch.

Quite entertaining. It was my first time watching ARP and i really liked him.

I really love that the ML was so extrovert and even goofy. This was a breath of fresh air after so many dramas with the introvert, taciturn MLs.
Give us more male leads like JXC!

They never showed what she told him and got him sad when he helped her during Grandma's birthday party.
He asked her to marry him and then we saw him sad and he left.

I won't drop it but I expected better, ngl.
But I will trust your words and I will keep watching,, waiting for it to pick up.

I am going through a BJT obsession phase so I have been trying to watch all of his dramas but I can't get into this one.
8 episodes in and I haven't got hooked yet.

The weirdest thing is that the main leads are rumoured to be dating (or have dated) in real life but I feel almost no chemistry between them.

At first it felt almost like a parody with exaggerated acting and a weird storyline.
But it was fast paced and things didn't drag for long so that made it easy to watch.
After a few episodes I really got into it and I found it really entertaining. Not a masterpiece but a good watch, nevertheless.
It's was my first time seeing ZWY and he is so pretty to the point of getting distracted by his looks.

I started this drama to soothe my Bai Jing Ting addiction while waiting for new episodes of The First Frost but I fell in love with this drama.
It's such a feel good drama and the sisterhood between the girls was so wholesome.
I am going to miss it.

I am not ready to say goodbye to Sang Yan and Yi Fan.
Their story touched me so thoroughly that I feel like I experienced this journey along with them.
I have to give kudos to the director because he did a great job.
I watched some BTS videos on tiktok and he really tried to make the actors connect to each other and he tried to make them bring out all the feelings of the characters.

Of course the actors being extremely talented helped as well.
Bai Jing Ting proved once again that he is a phenomenal actor and I was amazed by how much into the character he got. The way he showed emotions with his eyes made me swoon at times.
I think it was my first time watching ZRN and she did a great job portraying the character's vulnerability.
The two of them had an amazing chemistry and I pray that we will see them again in another project together.

All the drama aside, I hope the actors will get to act in another drama together because their chemistry is simply amazing.

Exactly! And it might seem childish to some or the easy way out but I think it's brave too. To put others' safety and well being before your happiness.

I think it is because you are so into the story that you feel hurt. There will be a reunion in the next episodes, so it will be fine!
But in situations like these, victims carry shame as well. So, it's not easy for them to open up.

Trauma can manifest in different ways.
I won't judge people for their trauma.
I had a stalker more than a decade ago and seeing her uncle getting a job at her company was enough to make me feel triggered because I knew she would never feel safe in her workplace again.
I can't even imagine how she felt after going through that.
Especially when the person she loved the most got involved like that.

I understand people's reactions to her leaving.
But, personally, I won't blame a woman who cried when someone bought her chicken soup just for her because she got used to having nothing, to the point she had to borrow money to eat,
a woman who was tossed away in her most vulnerable moment,
a woman who was met with hate and disbelief by her family when she got SAed,
a woman who saw her boyfriend got affected by the person who traumatized her for life and who told her that he would always follow her to ruin her life
for leaving and trying to protect him and herself.
She knows he will follow her to the end of the Earth so she left without telling them anything.
But , think, will a woman who carries such a big trauma be happy when the person
she loves gets ruined because of her?
