I started watching this drama for Deng Lun but I got really hooked. It was much better than I thought.

It reminded me a lot of Ten Miles but the difference is that TM was really interesting at first but made me lose interest later on but this drama started slow and the story picked up during the second half so I was left with a better impression of it.

The music was amazing, one of the best osts of similar dramas.
The acting was good, at least for the main leads.

The only thing that I didn't like was that the story sometimes focused more on other characters than the main couple so I had to skip a lot. I don't know if the book was like that, they wanted to have something to fill 63 episodes or if they wanted to push an actor. (I think there was such a case here) but it made the drama feel longer at times.

Now you are rude too and we are even. The difference is that I don't care about neither of them so..
When you cast someone to play a high schooler, then you need to see if that actor or actress fits the role. She looked older than all of them and her styling made her look even older. Maybe she is great in another drama but not here. Totally miscast.

The FL looks too old to be playing a college student. I feel no chemistry at all. Dropping it.

The weakest of the series/universe by far. What this drama failed to do was make me feel the emotional connection I felt with the characters in My Huckleberry Friends and to a lesser degree in With You. I didn't care much about the leads, let alone the side characters.


It was also unnecessarily confusing with the flashbacks and what happened in the past and some of the story lines didn't make much sense, like with the cousin.

It is not that clear but to a lot of people it is a happy ending. I think it was a good and realistic, maybe not as happy as a typical drama.

There is romance but little. It is not the focus of the drama.

It was a good drama with great acting and touching moments but I felt it was a little draggy. Maybe less episodes would have been better.

If you are talking about my comment it wasn't copy paste but I guess there were similar minded people.
I will leave the copy paste to the numerous Blinks harassing people everywhere. Anyone who is anything but in favor of everything related to this drama will be called names and Korean people will get bashed for not liking what is happening, as if Jisoo herself wrote the script or is producing it.

JTBC shot themselves in the foot with those statements. I am not surprised that more and more people are getting angry about it. For once Korean netizens are right about something.
Using the real name of the activist, who is still alive, while setting the drama in that time period was a bad decision.
Blinks act like this is a personal vendetta against Jisoo but this whole issue is way bigger than that.
And with the tension in the relationship between the countries involved, it is not surprise people are sensitive about it.
I know other people have said that but to those who think this is an overreaction, please watch the movie 1987, which even has real life footage of that time, and you will understand why those people, some of whom are still alive, don't see this drama favorably.

Boring and really bad. I think they chose the FL because she looks like a young Song Hye Kyo and not for her acting skills which were non existent. The ML tried, the poor soul, but they had no chemistry.
Yun Shu was the blandest 2nd male lead ever.
THe dubbing annoyed me as well. It sounded really really unnatural and that didn't let me enjoy it.

Not for me. I didn't enjoy it but I can see why so many people like it.

I liked it a lot. It is one of those great and realistic school dramas that Chinese can do really well.
But between this one and My Huckleberry Friends, it was MHF that made me get more invested in the story.

Let me just say that Li Hai Chao is the Best dad in Dramaland.
Amazing drama. A must watch for all drama lovers.

I agree with everything you said. It had potential but it went to waste.

I am sure they wanted to express something meaningful with the message that an app cannot define your feelings etc etc but it came out so shallow and nonsensical.
I disliked few drama characters the way I disliked Sun Oh. So immature and self centered.
Jojo became slightly more likable in the end but still I wanted to scream at her all the time.
I understand the strong reactions about this drama because it can drive you crazy.
The fact that the best guy got the girl is small consolation.

So we have JoJo, an otherwise mature and responsible girl who works hard to pay her debt and who has a boyfriend. But that girl meets a guy for ten seconds, follows him in an alley and kisses him, thus betraying her boyfriend and showing she lacks common sense after all.
And Sun Oh who came back from the US and wanted to see his childhood friend, the only person who showed him love and warmth. But Sun Oh realizes his friend is in love with a girl and he does what the worst friend ever would ever do. He decided to chase after her. I CAN'T!
But Hye Yeong like the sane person he is, he stepped back. The same thing he did while he respected the fact that she had a boyfriend at first. Like any sane and decent person.
I never thought SO likes JJ. I thought she was a way to get under HY 's skin or take something he liked from him. So, I could never sympathized with him because he was creepy, immature and a terrible friend.
This love made no sense whatsoever.

This drama didn't catch my attention when it came out and only the drama now made me want to watch it. I don't know who she ended up because I just started Season 2 but I wanted to say sth about Season 1.
I have watched many school/young love dramas and hands down this is most juvenile, immature, nonsensical love story EVER. Like there is only one sane person and that's HY.

I could write a book about this drama but I will just share some thoughts in a spoiler, lol

And because I don't want to spoil anyone. I was so frustrated with BC and ZR. At least she had a more legit reason to hate TX. But he didn't make any sense. And I was a little done when they all made up in the end.
I guess I am not that forgiving.

I really like Janice Wu but she looked too old for this role. She looked older than all of the young people. And I am ashamed to say that I was distracted by her hair loss on the hairine through the drama.
This is my first time seeing Steven Zhang and I think he is really good. I will keep an eye on him.

The drama was nice but it dragged a lot. I wonder if it was made because of the Olympic Games but they focused way too much on the technical stuff.

I liked it but it should have been 30 episodes.
