I binged to EP 13 last week and just finished the last two episodes. At that point I was insanely perplexed as to how they were going to turn this ship around, with Fan Xiao still being extremely toxic and Shu Lang so deeply traumatized.... But then they somehow did it? I mean, it still wasn't a complete redemption arc (that boy still be out here stalking his boo), but their reunion also didn't feel rushed or forced. To be able to do that was seriously good story telling...
Put this off because I thought it was over hyped... But I can't believe how such a short drama got me so emotional. Not really into action, but definitely a 10/10.
I kept watching, hoping Hua Yong (the character) would have some redeeming qualities, but he was just an obsessed weirdo through and through, and Shao You was into that I guess... My only solace was that his kid seemed to hate him as much as I did.
Currently grieving the non-existant skinship between the second couple...
Okay, but seriously, I need an anatomy lecture on the repro systems of male omegas (and alphas I guess, considering shaoyou's situation?). I am a biologist, so this is my only hangup with the omegaverse...
Like at first, I pictured the rectum being similar to a cloaca in birds, but considering the placement of the blood in the last episode, the baby seems to be coming out of front and not the back...
they aren't blood related cousins they are cousins through marriage. You'd also have to double check the cultural…
This person seems to be living in this comment section, with the goal of promoting incest. Thank you @Arthenha for at least trying to educate them about the source material, even if they are refusing to listen to reason 😂
Jesus Fucking Christ. We are just two episodes away from the finale and the pissbabies are still whining about…
Or if people are that perturbed, they could look at the source material (manwha) and find out that there is, in fact, no incest. The reveal is coming, everyone just needs to relax, 시발...
In the manwha, it is eventually revealed that iljo is adopted. So it ends up not being that weird.
He keeps trying to convince himself out of his desires by saying we are cousins, etc... I can't point to a specific chapter. The reveal happens in the later part of ch 59, and is wrapped up in the last two chapters (71,72).
The negative comments seem to boil down to Do Ha's lack of personality, an uninspiring plot line, and/or not being happy with the end game.
Personally, I was satisfied with the end. It was cute fluff, but nothing revolutionary... However, I do want to praise the production quality and aesthetically pleasing scenes. It's rare to get beautiful shots like that in KBL, so I hope this raises the standards a bit.

Dang that went by so fast! Acting was great! But the only complaint I have is that around 15 chapters were put…
Yeah ep1 was a bit confusing because of how much they tried to fit in... Esp the weird jumps in time/flashbacks that didn't have a clear transition. Hopefully the rest of the series is edited more like ep2.
Jang Ki-Yong's styling in this drama bugs me. They (seemingly) filled in his hairline, but didn't bother touching his sparse eyebrows. Plus, his foundation seems more caked on then in previous dramas-- maybe it's also the lip color choice too? Idk, he is obviously still handsome, but I feel like they aren't maximizing his potential.
On paper, he is not my type at all (not a fan of sharp features)... And yet, I find myself so attracted to him when watching his dramas. His pouty little smile in My Roommate is a Gumiho makes me so giddy.
Also, I went into this with a BL mindset, which made the ending even more painful. Su Ho was the perfect character-- the freaking hand hold in the opening... I can't! 😩
