The "drunk kiss" or "kiss while one person is sleeping" troupe seems so common in Korean BLs I've watched/read, that maybe I've become desensitized, but I honestly don't understand the Gyeon hate. Imagine your crush (presumably of several years) kisses you... You might make the mistake of acting on your feelings in that moment instead of thinking things through. I also think the camera work/Su Bin's "drunk" acting is a bit to blame, making it seem like Do Ha is passed out/not also engaging in the kiss, but since the character wakes up and considers it his first kiss, I imagine he was meant to be kissing back. I'm not justifying Gyeon's actions in real life, but I empathize with the character, that he is not perfect and working through pent-up feelings, and thus, I don't understand people calling him creepy.
This might have a spoiler (?), so read at your own accord."When the peach blossom blooms, it attracts butterflies,…
I agree 100%. It struck me at the start of ep3, how hurt Gyeon must have been, but instead of leaving, he immediately gets water for Do Ha. Also, at the end of ep4, if Do Ha said he liked the team leader, I feel like Gyeon would have withheld his feelings to support his friend. What is coming across as a bit "possessive" is just him struggling to convey his feelings and wanting to protect Do Ha. Routing for the BF as the 🦋!
After a forensic frame-by-frame analysis of the bf at the beginning on ep1 and the kiss at end of ep2, I'm fairly certain the best friend is end game. The actor reminds me of Nam Joo Hyuk, so I am here for it.
Personally, coffee boy seems a bit stalkerish, and I am suspicious of the team leader being the reason got Do Ha fired. He seems a bit too confident that Do Ha didn't leak the proposal.
Not a fan of them still withholding the twin reveal... If I was a casual viewer who didn't read the synopsis, I feel like I would be very confused right now.
loved first episode but is it really about twins? I don't think they mentioned other brother even once
I am also so confused about this. I even went back to check what name she said while they were catching the bus to school (sounded like only "Baek Do") and paused at the pics on the wall, but there doesn't seem to be any with two boys. Seems odd to mention the twin in the show's description if it's supposed to be a surprise reveal.
How can I hate these characters so much for all their broken promises and yet still be crying over them??
The series even ended on ANOTHER broken promise! Coming here and finding out they filmed a proper, hopeful ending, only to never release it... I am fuming.
I saw no comments on this... But does someone have an explanation for why/how they were able to talk on the phone at the end? Are we just supposed to suspend all logic at that point, and run with it?
I enjoyed this drama, and didn't mind the 'twist' ending, but this one plot point irked me...
