Hey everyone. Any news? I saw some rumours floating around but we always get rumours in April and August. What was the last official news we got? Will it ever air...its been years 😭 plus i just got done with TTEOTM and i just need to see Leo as Chu Wanning. If i had hacking skills i wouldve risked it all for this drama.
I was a bit worried about the lead change from S1 in the beginning but honestly their chemistry is also good. Both female actresses bring their own element to Naksu and it just worked well for both seasons
This season has me all up in my feelings.
1 - ive always loved the crown prince. (Sigh) why cant all of them get a HEA... its so hard that 3 of the 4 men love Naksu. I know that he sort of keeps his distance because he knows as the prince he most probably will have an arranged marriage. Another thing i love is that he seems the most "balanced" like Yul is very upright and Uk is willing to bend rules however the crown prince is like in the middle. Hes the most "human". He can admit that hes jealous of Uk and wishes to beat him and be better than him but in the same breath he also has a good heart and doesnt go too far where there's no redemption. Am i making sense? I feel for him. I dont think he meant for things to get so out of hand. I also like that he went to speak to Uk first despite their rocky relationship. I just need him to stand firm now. Take responsibility for doing some shady shit when he felt threatened by Uk's power and be like ok things started off bad but i dont want to be part of this chaos so i will stop Jin Mu etc etc. I just need him to get a HEA with someone that he can unburden himself with like how he can freely talk to Naksu....i want a light and happy relationship for him...with someone new
2- Yul....oh goodness. Poor Yul....its always the heroes that end up in the most pain. Emotional or otherwise. Someone in the comments in my opinion has hit Yul's character right on the head. I felt exactly the same when thinking about everything and why he's so hellbent on killing Naksu. Honestly when you think a lot about who Yul is, his actions DO make sense and it does fit the story IMO. HOWEVER....i lowkey wanted them to twist his character. I wanted him to fall for So-yi. And i wanted to see this person who grew up with such strict morals and values slowly become more grey...while it would not fit his character description very well...it would've made one hell of a interesting story. It was opportunity missed. Imagine if while he loved Naksu...without realising it he slowly started to fall for So-Yi. I wouldve made him save her a few times...and look after her...during those times they get to talk and he gets to know So-Yi better. Look, shes a villain...but i couldnt help but admire her. She clearly did have some kind of morals. Even if it meant throwing her life away and getting tortured....she took it all for Yul. So Yul didnt love her....but he had to have been moved by her actions right? I mean i know he saved her because he felt indebted to her but yooooooooo this couldve turned out to be such an odd but interesting love story. Anyway back to my version so Yul while taking care of So-Yi would chat with her...get to know her and realise that at some point he has gotten very use to her being around. He would be annoyed about it and first. Anyway blah blah blah some added plot twist and angst but in the end i would make him take that fire bird...get rid of the parasite....get some awesome fire powers and then move back to his hometown with So-Yi (at this point they would already be together) and he would rule the land there. (Sigh) why couldn't i get this instead of this version where hes most probably going to die trying to kill Naksu?
3- Jang Uk....i surprisingly dont have much to say about him....hes swoon worthy.... i love the way he so arrogant when hes like well since Naksu died i have nothing to protect so we can just all die together whatever 😂😂😂😂 but thats just bratty Uk talking...we all know he would most probably help in the end because hes not a bad person.
4- the only man who is not frustrating me at this point is Yul and Uk's friend. Hes just living his life and loving that girl, hoping for a good future for the 2 of them. 😂
