I absolutely loved your view on this because it is exactly what i thought about Yul as well. Him killing Naksu and then himself was so spot on with Yul's upright character. Although i know that it was never going to happen i lowkey wanted Yul and So-i to end up together with some crazy plot twist...either she gets better for him or Yul ended up doing a 360 and murdering everyone 😂 but thats just wishful thinking LOL. But yeah back to the point i think you nailed Yul's character right on the head!

Honestly in my opinion this drama wasn't as bad. It had a good storyline and i feel like if it was picked up by a bigger company and had more known actors it wouldve done really well. The actors did great but the male lead definitely looked like a teenager. He has a very young face. Even with all of that he did great. The female lead was AMAZING. She was strong but had a soft heart and it was really nice seeing someone who had walls build up slowly fall in love. The humour was silly but not in a bad way. It had me laughing or embarrassed here and there. My take on the ending was that the male lead was dying so the female lead gave up her powers and saved him making her human. So in the end they were both human and lived out their lives. Thats why we have that little snippet of the 2 helpers when they're old. They survived while all the other characters passed on because they were human in that life. The ending shows their current reincarnation hinting that even though Wan gave up her powers as a spirit and lived as a human they kept meeting in their next lives which i think is sweet. While i loved the leads and their chemistry wasnt bad my favourite character had to be Yuren. He was the MVP of the show for me. Yes he did silly things but apart from Wan he had the most growth as a character. Like dude had a good heart and was just carefree. He ended up being responsible and training himself to be better. I had the biggest crush on him. He never envied his brother when it was evident that his brother would inherit the family position instead he was ok with just helping. He loved his mother but never felt pressured to do her bidding. When he met that girl and thought she was a man and starting falling in love with her...he didnt freak out much. Yes he questioned his sexuality but even after that he gathered up his courage to confess not caring that she was a "man" at that point hahaha. When he was rejected he STILL didnt give up he decided to be better and ask the person out again baring in mind that all this is taking place while he thinks shes a man. He never cared about the gender roles either. He went to find her because he missed her and decided that if they cant be together then they can be sworn brothers at least. Homeboy deserves a 10/10 for not caring about the whole i like a man thing and if i cant be theirs i can at least be in their lives...that's enough for me. He was cool as shit! He made peace with Wan because he knew he did her wrong. He helped his brother because he wanted him to be happy. That part where he kept saving his brother from that cat spirit was hilarious! Oh oh not to mention that when he did find out that the person he liked was in fact a woman he still didnt care that she was more powerful than him. He was ok with her being strong and saving him. When she decided she couldnt leave the evil dude to wreck havoc and even if that meant dying she needed to stop him, Yuren never tried to stop her or persuade her not to go because he KNEW what her personality was like and instead opted to support her and be with her even if that meant them dying together. He was seriously overlooked as a character. He is definitely one of the best ive ever seen in a drama. Yes he was childish and silly but really under that he had loads of courage love and acceptance and that shouldnt be overlooked. He wasnt the typical male character you find in cdramas and that was refreshing. I lived for all his scenes.

Cheng Yi is such an amazing actor truly...it really felt like a completely different person while he played his father. It makes me wonder if he will ever consider playing a bad guy like that as a main role....he would slay it!

What i think about is if there was no censorship and love scenes were allowed would we have the same actors willing to do the scenes or would different actors be playing these roles...mmm

I have so many feelings about VegasPete...like you guys ive been a fan since the get go...when there were rumours of KP becoming a series i remember a thai fan had posted about VP storyline...i was intrigued and went to read in on the website with google translate...at that point VP was still a very controversial couple and not many people liked them...however i really loved the couple. I had no doubt that bible and build could deliver their complex storyline even when KP was with the previous company i KNEW they (B &BB) would slay!...with all this in mind i feel cheated a bit by BOC...i keep having to tell myself that i need to just accept that series VP and book VP are 2 different couples since they changed stuff...and thats ok. I dont mind the changes they made. The starting was great...the ending was great...but the middle...they robbed us of so much VP content and it makes me so sad... like one in the book Vegas stopped hitting Pete after Pete showed some concern towards him...he would always kiss his cheeks too...he really did love Pete even though it was twisted...i wish we had more scenes showing this...i KNOW changes had to be made because theres no Nop in the series and also Vegas isnt at home they're now in a safe house...Pete's character also changed a bit so i know the story cant be as is...but i wish they kept in some scenes...like Vegas shaving Pete...Vegas teasing Pete...Pete annoying Vegas...those small things wouldve gone a long way...i dont think BOC expected so many people to love the characters so they took out a lot of their in between sweet moments...im super grateful for everything we got...i just wish it was a bit more. Their beginning was amazing, their ending was amazing...even their middle was great...but i just needed a bit more...just a little bit....anyway im glad we at least got some things...like the hospital scene and the scene where Pete says he's hungry....i love VP so much and im really appreciative towards Bible and Build for giving this couple their everything...i doubt we'll get a Venice in S2 but i'll be happy with just seeing Build and Bible back. I only hope that Danmei will maybe consider making VP their own book 1 by maybe taking out all the special chapters from KP and even their bonus chapters and putting it together to make their own book 1 and well i saw today they're going to write a new book for them so that can be book 2. I need paperbacks so i can keep it.
